"The fuck happened to you?!" Lisa dropped all the clothes she washed and dried. Hazel, who was standing besides me, with my bag hung on her shoulder, stared at Lisa. "She really has the mother posture." Hazel mumbled.
I looked down at the clothes, before Lisa. "Are you gonna pick 'em up? The floor can be dirty you know? You have to wash them againnnn--- what the hell?"
Lisa in the matter of seconds ran towards me and supported me on her shoulder. "Hazel, help me. Oof, did you get into an accident or what?" Lisa questioned me, helping me inside.
"Gee, I may look in bad state but I'm fine. Trust me." It was definitely a failed attempt to assure Lisa because she wasn't having it. Instead she just simply avoided me and stared at Hazel, waiting for an explanation.
"Shall I lie or speak truth?" Hazel asked me.
I wanted to facepalm and throw Hazel away. "You clearly look like you want to spill tea so go on." I lay down on the couch, closing my eyes.
Hazel explained everything to Lisa, from Scarlett beating me up to the cafeteria drama that occurred. "This shit is fucked up." Lisa poked me lightly.
"Mhmmm." I tried to jerk her hand away.
"Are you alive?"
"No."
"Why is this phsyco bitch after you? Isn't it the same girl who bullied you with her gang?" Lisa asked, still poking me. I suddenly felt so down, maybe it was pain in my body that made me weak all of sudden.
"Stop the fuck, Lisa or im'ma throw hands." I whined.
She slapped me instead. "I asked something!"
"Ouch, bitch! I'm already hurt."
I rubbed my shoulder, glaring at Lisa. Hazel just stood, staring at both of us weirdly. I didn't know when I sleep between the conversation, leaving Lisa and Hazel talking to eachother.
My eyes fluttered open and I yawned. Food, I need food. I looked around, rubbing my eyes. I could hear low voices from the kitchen. I tried to look back and caught a glimpse of Hazel's back.
I frowned, looking at the time. It was almost 6:00 pm. Wow, I really slept for five hours. I looked back again, at the kitchen, on hearing Lisa's voice. My pain was less thankfully. I took painkillers on my way back to home and they did effect. "She's awake!" I heard Hazel's loud cheerful voice.
Lisa and Hazel both entered in the living area. "I made chicken and vegetable soup." Lisa placed the bowl on the glass table, helping me in getting up and resting my head against the head of the couch.
Lisa and Hazel took care of me whole time before the night. "I think I should leave now." Hazel was about to get up when Lisa stopped her and asked her to stay overnight as it was quite late. She also suggested Hazel to go to school from our house next day.
"Nah, Scott is on his way here. I messaged him. He'll be here soon." Hazel smiled.
My eyes widened slightly. "Does he know what happened to me?"
"Uh, yeah?" Hazel looked confused. "Because I had to explain why I have to leave early from school. They send the absent notice text at home, you remember?"
I groaned, my head falling back on the pillow.
"Is there any," Hazel now looked more than confused. She kept staring between Lisa and I, "problem?" I didn't answer her, instead I kept on staring at Lisa who at first, had no clue but she looked like she got something as her eyes grew big.
