As I sit upon your lap, stars are all I see. Hope's and dreams shining above us. Love throughout the universe. Watching my family from down below.
I wish I could remember that. The cuddles, laughs, good times, all of it. But pain clouds my mind.
The good old days, where I mattered more than your phone. Where having secrets wasn't an issue. Where lying to me and bringing me to this place wasn't in my plans. Where I loved you and felt joy when I heard your name. Where you said that you were working, but I can finally see on what.
I still wonder, what do you do all day? Why is your phone more important than me? What do you do there? To whom do you talk to? Why am I here? Who are the people that come and go? Why me? Why?
Those are the questions I asked my self every day, wondering if maybe one day, the stars will shine once again.
Now I lay on the floor, chained and hungry, waiting for someone to drug me. For someone else to use me and to do as it desires.
In this room that's always locked. Only one person comes in, and is usually to drug me. As I fade away, so does the hopes of leaving this place.
I wake up to a pool of blood. Scratches all over my body, pain that lasts for hours. Hunger of days, bruises that never seem to go away.
Thinking, imagining, wishing, hoping and desiring freedom. I know that these people hurt me and somehow they enjoy it.
Some time went by and I found out I was pregnant, and that indeed, was very bad. I loved you, but this hurts to much for me to bare.
As the months went by, the time came. The baby was born, I was yet again, drugged and never heard of the baby again. I hope that he or she is fine.
One night, everything became different. The movement in the room grew and a tray full of needles was brought.
The injections were one after the other. My vision became blurry and I couldn't breathe very well. I panicked but I was still in chains. I tried to move but they held me down.
I woke up, wich made me feel happy, but I was in what appeared to be an abandoned town. I was all alone. I went from building to building, but no trace of life anywhere. What happened to this town?
As night came by I was finally able to see the stars, I heard my family calling me, I saw they had the baby. My mom told me that it was time to go home.
As I hugged her, crying was all that we did. As I hugged her, I became closer to them. Laughing and finally being set free...
