We've been everywhere, hiding, running, starving, killing and surviving in our journey. One that has a very long story.

It all started when my mom remarried. John became my stepdad, he  had a son and a daughter. Now, remember him, we'll come back to him later.

Let me give you a little bit of our history.

You see, when we are born, we are very dark colored as well as our eyes and we have no wings. We look like a normal child. But once we become 14, everything changes.

Our skin and eye color changes. Our teeth start to become very sharp at the tip and our entire diet changes. We rely 100% in meat. But the things that hurt the most are the growth bones of the wings and the muscles that help to control their movement.

It takes three months for a muscle to grow big and strong to sustain the wings. Then the bones grow, taking five months. Ones where adjusting becomes very hard. Once everything's done, you've had eight months to find a place where humans can't find you. A place where you can practice your flying and hunting; all without being eaten by one of the other teens, or hunted by humans.

If you succeed, you might have a glance of adulthood. Now here is the tricky part. If you want to have a land of your own, you must find a mate.

Remember John? Well, it became very hard to find a mate in a land filled with males. Every year, the mating season comes but it only lasts for two days. If you desire to have a lady friend as a wife, it's a whole new level.

Many mate but do not stay, the ones who desire to get married must literally fight off every other Male that desires her.

If he succeeds, he shall marry her at once. If you don't mate in those two days, you missed your shot and have to wait an entire year to try again. Plenty of time to practice your fighting skills.

Me, being 27, it has become very hard to have a land of my own, meaning,  I'm homeless. There are a few females, but those are married. Where are the females? You may be asking, well, John. That's all I can say John...
