Lizzie was sitting on the train she was very short and her legs couldn't reach the floor form where she was sitting on a seat in an empty compartment swinging her legs a little bit. She didn't mind that she was alone though. She had been dreading any other magical abnormalities because that would mean she would have to be taken to St. Mungo's. She was drawing a picture in her sketch book. She was very good at drawing. She sometimes used her magical abnormalities to her advantage. She knew she shouldn't because it can hurt her but since when did she ever listen to rules? She was drawing a picture of a dragon,it was very good. She got bored of that and put the very detailed drawing aside and looked out the window at the beautiful landscape. She grabbed her wand out of her bag and tried doing a few spells. She pointed her wand towards the ceiling "Lumos" she said sort of bored. She wasn't expecting it to work but very excitedly stared up at her wand when it started lighting up. "Amazing!" She said in shock staring at it like she had never seen magic before. She was more so shocked that she was able to perform magic normally. She heard a knock on the compartment door and looked away from the wand. She saw a girl with a very bushy Maine of chestnut brown hair walk in. "Have you seen a toad a boy named Neville has lost one" she was looking on the floor and then looked up at the girl holding her wand that was lit up. "Oh are you doing magic? That's awesome" she said eyes widening and realizing what spell she had performed "Lumos? But that's advanced magic we are supposed learn this later in the year. How did you do it?" She asked very curiously. Lizzie shrugged "I don't really know... I just thought about it said it and imagined it and it just happened" she said calmly but was still very shocked. "Amazing" she said looking at it very shocked. Lizzie thought about the counter spell she closed her eyes and imagined a light going out. "Nox" she said and the light on the end of her wand went out. Her jaw dropped and she laughed in shock at the fact that she was able to just do magic that is advanced for where witches and wizards should be at that point in time. "I'm Hermione Granger" she said smiling and sticking her hand out for Lizzie to shake. "Lizzie" she said shaking it and smiling back. "I've really only tried a few simple spells but that was supposed to be taught at the end of term" Lizzie smiles and obviously didn't want her to feel bad for know less magic "I'd love to see what you can do probably loads more than me I bet" she said truthfully thinking she couldn't really do anything else. Hermione took out her wand "I doubt it but I'll try" she thought on what spell to do for a minute. She pulled a piece of paper out of her bag and ripped it. She pointed her wand at it and said "oculus reparo" and the paper was now magically back in one piece as it has never been ripped before. She only remembered hearing this spell used once or twice. Occasionally if her father was really mad and he had something in his hand would throw something. She had only seen like that twice in her life and both times he had threw a glass cup. It was usually after he got done speaking with some Wizard she didn't really recognize or pay enough attention to worry about or know his name. "That was awesome" she smiling at Hermione. She had only known this girl for about 10 minutes and already liked her. Usually she would have to wait a while to trust somebody but this time she trusted her right away without even thinking. There was just something about her that Lizzie liked. Instead they got a little bit of candy from the trolly witch when she came by and just talked about the books they've read, the spells they've learned, and all the things they know. Eventually they changed into their school robes and waited to get to Hogwarts. When they pulled to a stop Lizzie grabbed her hand and dragged her off the train. They made their way over to a huge guy holding a very big lantern leading all the first years towards the black lake which is said to have a giant squid in it. They approached some boats of course Lizzie and Hermione got into the very front of one. They started to move and as they got closer to what seemed to be their destination they rounded a corner and saw an amazingly huge giant castle and all the kids started talking to each other at once. It was the most amazing thing she had ever seen in her whole life and most likely would be the most amazing thing you had ever seen in your life too if you went to Hogwarts. After they reached the other end of the lake all of the students were talking to each other very very eagerly waiting to see what secrets this ginormous school of magic held. Only time would tell
