the earth finally had enough. it could not take it anymore. life on this planet would finally end. she would finally have to pay her dues.
she walked to the gravel crossroads, the earth falling away beneath her feet.
she met the face of the devil once more. but it was not the one she saw in the back of her mind, but a true human face. one that did not make her cower. though his eyes still carried an evil glint in them that only dulled when he looked at her.
her time had finally arrived.
