     Usually when a family comes to the decision that they want to adopt a pet, what they end up getting is a young puppy or kitten for their children to play with and love a little. While the case was similar in some ways for the Daeminus family, there were some... notable differences.

Puppy Love & Kitten Kisses was a store for people wanting to adopt a pet, yes, but these pets weren't like regular cats and dogs. They were a very rare, expensive, and peculiar breed of creature that was half animal and half human. Often time the creatures were human in appearance, but had fury cat/dog ears, a tail, canine/feline teeth and claws, and many animal mannerisms. Like most animals, they grew to full size rather quickly, though in appearance they never looked much older than teens and were rather small in size— usually getting to a maximum height of 5'0—5'4 depending on gender and anatomy (there was either an Omega or an Alpha).

And these animals, while lovable, loyal companions... were often time used as not just animal partners, but romantic and sexual ones too.

When the Daeminus brothers went in that day, they didn't exactly know what specifically they were looking for. They figured they'd be getting an Alpha and Omega male, so everyone could be happy (especially Damien). An employee showed them around their fine collection of animals, when they got to a group towards the back.

There was a curious pair there. A kit and pup, both small in size and very youthful in appearance... and undeniably gorgeous. The kit was small and shy, with black hair, fluffy black ears and tail, and pretty blue eyes. The pup, on the other hand, was very energetic, playing around with toys in the pen he was in. He had golden brown eyes and wavy caramel locks, with floppy ears and a fluffy tail reminiscent of a golden retriever.

Erik, one of the older brothers, asked about them after noticing all the brothers were interested in the two. The employee frowned in their direction.

"Oh, sirs, I wouldn't suggest those two. They're rescues, and not even purebreds. The kit can be rather hostile, and the pup has no manners. I really think you should look elsewhere, especially if you all want good pets. These Omegas are simply not worth it."
