Chapter 2

Hayden was sound asleep. Connor couldn't sleep for two reasons. He didn't want to miss a single moment of having Hayden curled up on his stomach like a sleeping puppy, and two Hayden snored. It wasn't super loud, but his snores coming out on his stomach felt a little weird. His hands were still on his back. Every time The smaller kid took a breath Connors hands rose and fell with him. Connor couldn't lie , he had been scared to touch Hayden with Roland's arm. Roland was rough and demanding. That wasn't want Connor wanted. Connor didn't want to be forceful and intimidating to Hayden. He didn't want to touch anyone the way Roland had touched Risa. So far though, Connor had been gentle and soft. Hayden started to stir awake.
"Hayden...you awake, man?"
"Hm? Connor? Oh. Yeah I'm awake."
Connor rubbed his back absently.
"Why are you awake?"
"I couldn't fall asleep... you snore."
Hayden feigned offense.
"I do not snore!"
"You do."
"Well fine. I'm not sleeping so now you can. I won't keep you up with my supposed snoring ."
Connor chuckled.
"Okay. Thanks."
Connor closed his eyes and fell into a deep and dream filled sleep.
When he woke up Hayden wasn't there.
"Hayden?" He sat up and looked out the jet window. It was barely morning.
"Hayden where are you?"
He got out of the bed and walked into the jet bathroom. It was a big bathroom, as it was a first class jet. He found Hayden using the toilet. He tried his best to cover up when Connor barged in.
"What?! What are you doing?! Jesus Connor may I please take a piss?!"
"Oh sorry!"He covered his eyes with his hand.
"Sorry. I was just wondering where you were. You weren't in bed."
"Oh yeah sorry I haven't figured out how to be in the bathroom and bed at the same time yet . Oops!"
"Well you made the bed all cold when you left. All your body heat was gone."
Hayden bowed in fake forgiveness.
"Will you ever forgive me?"
"You're such an ass." Connor said rolling his eyes.
Hayden washed his hands and turned to Connor.
"Hey Connor... lets go back to bed. I'm ready to get warm with you again."
Connor smiled lightly.
"Alright well come on then."
They got back into the bed. Connor pulled Hayden close. They were in a  spooning position , but Hayden turned so he could tuck his head under Connor's chin.
"Goodnight Con."
"Goodnight Hayden."
I love you . He thought as he closed his eyes.
