As i walked down the school hallways with my yellow school bag hiked over my shoulders, I ignored the gazes from my class mates and made my way down the corridors as quickely as i could, what can i say i like to keep to myself. My name is Cassandra (or Cassie as my closest friends call me). i have shoulder-length black hair and very pale skin despite my asian heritage. I dont really talk to many people apart from my best friend Tyler who happened to be a guy and very outgoing.
I walked into my english class to find Tyler sitting next to a boy i had never seen before. He had long blonde hair and bright blue eyes, ones that you could get lost in. Tyler waved me over and introuduced me to this new attractive boy. "Cassie, this is River" said Tyler, "he just moved here from Los Angles." "Oh hi" I said with a slight stutter, I could feel my cheeks heating up. "It's so nice to meet you!" he said with a big smile. I'd never met anyone with a smile like his, my stomach was full of butterflies. I was saved from possible embrassment by our english teacher Mr. Collins entering the room and ordering the class to sit down and quiet down.
During the whole period I stole glances at River out of the corner of my eyes, his gorgeous blue eyes squinting in concentraion at the task we had been set.
