"I was just like you" He replies. What is that supposed to mean? The car stops. We have arrived at the clinic. Marcus glares at me, then straining a smile. "Let's, get you checked up." I nod my head and walk out of the car. My body feels perfectly fine. I'm fine, I just want to know what Marcus meant when he said he was like me. I walk into the clinic anxious, continuously looking at Marcus afraid of asking. We walk up to the reception and get booked for a checkup.
A lady in her mid 30's calls out my name "Miss, Sarah Canmore?" I look at Marcus and we walk towards the lady following her into a small room. This room is your average clinic room, white walls, random posters about your health and the classic doctor's bed. "Ok, so I am Dr Smith. Sarah, can you tell me what has happened?" She asks with a smile. "She was riding-" Marcus says being cut off by the doctor. "I was asking Sarah not you." I look at Marcus shocked, he too returns the same expression to me. "Well, I was talking to Pin, he said something that upset me and I went on Apollo and I fell off. That's about it." I say. "You were also unconscious for about 10 minutes maybe more," Marcus adds. Dr Smith looks at me concerned. "I'll do a few tests and we'll see how you go."
After the appointment, Marcus and I buy a drink from a vending machine that was outside of the clinic. When walking to the car we see a familiar figure standing near the car. "Pin?" I say. He looks up at me, then to Marcus. He looks concerned. "Is she ok?" He asks. "I'm right here you can ask me." He looks away then at me. "Sorry. What did the doctor say?" I sigh, my gaze falling to the floor. "Well, I um uh I-" "Are you ok Sarah? Do you want me to tell him?" Marcus asks. I nod my head. "She has a concussion, she won't be able to ride for a month." I look at Pin with a smile. "That's ok! I guess that gives me more time to explore the island." I say cheerfully, attempting to lighten up the mood. "I've been so caught up with horses I guess I haven't had much time to actually view the countryside," I say. I look up at Marcus, he looks upset but nods in approval. I then smile at Pin who looks at me, sighs and walks away. I look up at Marcus again, my facial expression changing. "Let's go get you some rest." He says smiling at me. I nod my head and walk into the car.

I try to avoid contact with anyone at the house, embarrassed by my actions. If I told Mia, she would laugh at me and tell me I'm ridiculous and her dad will say something wise like, 'It happens to the best of us', which I don't want to hear right now. So I just kinda speed walk to up the stairs and to my room. How did I get into this mess? I feel my phone buzz in my pocket. I look and see a Pin's name on the screen.
You have a message:
Pin: I know you don't want to talk to me right now but.....
What does he want to say? This kid knows how to get my attention. So I click to view the message:
I know you don't want to talk to me right now but please meet me at the place we first met tomorrow morning.
Where we first met? I can't remember that it was that long ago. I have to really think hard about my first or second day here on this island.

I didn't get much sleep during the night, I couldn't stop twisting and turning, constantly thinking about where we first met. How does he remember such information? Am I a bad person for not remembering? What is our relationship status, are we even friends? I finally figured it out. He was warning me about Apollo. He wants to meet there? Why? I can't ride, so why are we going near Apollo? Confusion struck my head. I think I'm over thinking it. Maybe just wants to apologise about yesterday, even though it wasn't his fault. I pace back and forth in my bedroom continuing to over think Pins message until I hear the door swing open at high speed. "Get out we're having breakfast now," Right, family breakfast every Saturdays. How could I forget? "OK, geez you don't have to be so mean," I say back at Mia. She just rolls her eyes and leaves. I get changed then walk down the grand stairs and sit at 'my spot' on the table.

I'm running down the dusty road, eventually bumping into someone. I fall to the ground looking up to who I ran into. "Zoe? I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going," I say as I stand up and brush the dirt off my clothes. "It's ok, just take it easy ok? I don't want you to injure yourself again," She says concerned. What? How does she know? "Um, how do you know about my injury?" I ask.
I'm running down the road faster with less caution, losing my sense of direction. I bump into another person but instead of falling they catch me and bring me to and embrace. "You need to be more careful," A familiar voice says, giving me the warm feeling again. I can feel my heart beating so fast I don't even think that I'm currently being embraced by someone. I look up. "Pin?" I quickly push myself away from his body. What was that? Why did he do that? What was that warm feeling I felt inside? I'm so confused. I turn around and start to walk away in embarrassment, but before I could go he grabs my wrist and turns me around.
"Don't go, I need to tell you something."
