"So I was thinking, um..." He laughed casually, showing of a perfect set of teeth. "...I was thinking we could meet after school? You know, talk a bit?" He grimaced, and I wondered if he regretted it.

However, I couldn't believe myself: "Really? Sure! I'll see you then." 

I walked into class 20 seconds late, earning a dirty look from my teacher. But it was worth it. It was all worth it. Because he was the most good-looking guy I had ever seen, and I wasn't going to mess this up.

I never wanted math to go by so quickly. I spent the entire period thinking of what to say, what make-up to put on, whether it was going to be romantic or not. I completely blanked out the lesson, earning yet another dirty look from my teacher. I didn't care.

When the bell rang, I hurried out of class, sprinting to my locker, grabbing my things, and getting out of the school. The cool spring air hit me, and I smiled.

I rounded the corner, and there he was. "There you are!" he said with a casual grin that sent my stomach into knots.

Okay, Victoria. Focus. C'mon. You can do this. "Hi. I'm Victoria, and you are?"

"Charles," he replied.

We sat down and got talking. It turned out, we had a lot in common.

"Well Victoria, this was really fun," he said. Just then, my confidence got the better of me. I slowly tried to hold his hand.

He accepted, fitting his hand in mine. I decided to take it a step further. I leaned in, close to his cheek, and planted a kiss. I could tell how he felt when he wrapped his arm around me. 

I put my other hand on his shoulder, moving to his mouth. Then I kissed him.
