The story of the abandoned school

The easy first

Introduction: I am Caroline and my friend’s names are Suzie, Catniss, Timothy and Max. I have a bitch whose name is Ary; she’s going to help us too. We are a gang called the C.K. Curiosity Killers. There was a very old school; it was so old that people thought that it was haunted! When our gang got to know about it curiosity kicked in! And the investigation started as soon as possible.

Ch. 1

I pushed the door as hard as possible but it won’t budge. “Hey! Don’t just stand there! Give me a hand.” Timothy and Max started kicking the door till the hinge almost cracked.

Tim took out his torch and flashed it on the dirty hallway. We went forward. It was kind of creepy in there. I heard a chattering sound which suddenly gave me a chill. I asked the others if they heard it too. Then Catniss calmed me saying that it’s nothing but Max clattering his teeth!

There were many doors in that room. Tim said in a shallow voice, “You guys think ghosts might be behind the doors?” “Whaaat!! Guys! Please let us go back this place is already giving me creeps!” demanded Max. “Shut up you both, we came to investigate.” Catniss said.

I bravely opened one door. And yikesss!!!! A ske-skel-skeleton was in there! I fell on my back and Tim quickly closed the door. Max and Sue helped me stand up, my whole body was wobbling. Sue asked, “Are you ok?” “What was this room? Is it a torture room? What’s a skeleton doing there?” I kept blabbering questions in panic. Catniss held my shoulders and said, “Calm down Carol! Look here. It’s written here ‘Sc Lab’.” I gave out a huge sigh of relive.

Max shouted, “Let’s stop this hunt and go home.”

Catniss protested, “No. We shall continue.”

Max replied, “You guys do what you want to but I’m leaving. Ta- ta, bye- bye and good luck.”

Just then when Max turned and took a step he fell down…down-down making a shortcut to the godown!

We froze. Completely shocked! Somehow I regained my senses and screamed, “Quick!! To the stairs of the basement.”

We started looking for the stairs, but it wasn’t as easy as it should’ve been easy. We ran through the corridors but there only seemed to be rooms, numerous rooms, no stairs! We were all confused. Totally exhausted Sue spoke, “He-hey, you guys think… there are no stairs. I mean maybe Max fell into something else….” “Something else!!!!” I broke in “now what is that even supposed to mean?” “Don’t say ridiculous things to scare us!” Cat warned. Tim said, “Now what shall we do? We looked over the whole building! We didn’t miss any place did we?” “Maybe we should re-check the place” Catniss replied throwing herself on the wall to lean on it. “Whaaat the…!!!!” Catniss screamed. I turned to see only her legs.

Ch. 2

“Cat!!! What happened to your upper half!!!? Did the building swallow you?” I screamed in panic. “Hey!! I’m still hear in one-piece! Stop screaming nonsense.” I was relieved to see that nothing had happened to her but the walls had cracked instead. Sue spoke “This place is practically falling apart!” Tim helped Catniss to stand up, “I don’t think that the wall broke, look here, the edges are totally straight.” We saw that Tim was right; the wall had not cracked but revealed a hidden passage. “Whoa! Check it out guys! I think these are the stairs which will lead us to Max.” Suzie yelled. We all peered down at the newly revealed passage. “I bet these lead to the cellar” I said. “C’mon let’s not waste more time and look for Max I bet he’s scared to death right now.” Tim said “The guy gets scared real fast.”  Catniss agreed. Tim flashed his torch on the passage; we could see some very steep stairs leading down. Tim took the lead and we all followed him.
