A Fresh Start

Lexi's POV

I had just arrived at Cross Academy and was expecting to see Kaname at the gate to show me around, but instead, it was someone I had never met before. He has blonde hair, icy blue eyes, and is incredibly handsome.

"Hello, I'm Lexi Rosette."

"Hello, my name is Hanabusa Aido. It is charming to meet you, Lady Lexi."

"Likewise, Hanabusa, but please just call me Lexi."

"You know I can't do that, especially when Lord Kaname is around."

"Fine. Anyway, I was expecting Kaname to meet me here. Where is he?"

"Lord Kaname is in the Night Class Dorm, having everyone prepared for your arrival. He told me to bring you there when you got here, and he would show you around after introducing you to everyone in the Night Class."

"Great. Just what I need attention that I don't want."

"If you would follow me, Lady Lexi."

"Sure, Hanabusa."

I followed him to the Night Class Dorms, and just like Hanabusa said, he was there waiting to introduce me to the Night Class. I don't know what he thinks he's doing. He knows for a fact I hate attention.

"Attention, Night Class; this is Lady Lexi, the new Pureblood Student. I want you all to respect and treat her as you would me," said Kaname.

"Yes, Lord Kaname," said the Night Class.

"Lexi, there are some people I would like you to meet," said Kaname.

"I would be happy to meet them," I said.

"This is Akatsuki Kain," said Kaname.

"It's very nice to meet you, Akatsuki," I said

"The pleasure is all mine, Lady Lexi," said Akatsuki.

"This is Ruka Souen," said Kaname.

"It's very nice to meet you, Ruka," I said.

"It's such a pleasure to meet you, Lady Lexi," said Ruka.

"This is Takuma Ichijo, the Vice Dorm President of the Night Class, " said Kaname.

"It's very nice to meet you, Takuma," I said.

"Nonsense, the pleasure is all mine Lady Lexi," said Takuma.

"This is Seiren," said Kaname.

"It's very nice to meet you, Seiren," I said.

"Lady Lexi," said Seiren.

"This is Senri Shiki and Rima Touya," said Kaname.

"It's very nice to meet you, Senri and Rima," I said.

"It's our pleasure Lady Lexi," said Rima and Senri.

"And, of course, you have already met Hanabusa Aido," said Kaname.

"Yes, and it is still very nice to meet you, Hanabusa," I said.

"No, Lady Lexi, the pleasure is all mine," said Hanabusa.

"Lexi, I have to deal with some business with Headmaster Cross. I can have Hanabusa show you around Cross Academy if you would like," said Kaname.

"That sounds lovely, Kaname," I said.

"Good, then I'll leave Hanabusa to it," said Kaname as he left the Moon Dorm.

"Would you like me to show you to your room first so you can get yourself settled?" Hanabusa asked.

"That would be great, Hanabusa," I said

"It's my pleasure Lady Lexi," said Hanabusa.

We walked up the stairs, down a couple of hallways, and up another flight of stairs before reaching my room. When Hanabusa opened the doors, I couldn't believe my eyes. Everything in my room reminded me of home. (Picture above) 

"I take it you like the Paris-themed room."

"Like no, I absolutely love it. Paris is where I grew up. It's nice to be able to feel at home, considering this is the first time I've been away from there for a long period of time. Who did this? When did they do this? Why?"

"Lord Kaname did it. As for when he did it when the Moon dorm was set up. He told the headmaster he wanted you to feel at home."
