America, Best Friend and One Direction ?

Bye Australia, hello America!

Toady's the day! finally time to go to America, yes America! with the best friend Kylie. We have been looking forward to this for ages. Our parents both decided that we needed a nice quite vacation, after all we do is study. Kylie and I are in year 10, both 17 years of age, we both care about our education and future. I realized i forgot to pack a few items, as I run to my room and grab my phone charger and make up, i quickly fixed my mascara and eye-liner.

As I finally pack my phone charger in my bag, I hear a car pull into my drive-way, I look out my bedroom window and its Kylie's car, I run down the stairs as I opened my front door there stood my best friend, Kylie. The person I tell absolutely everything to, the one I trust with my heart and the one person that has not left me, stood by my side 100%. "KYLIE" I scream, she looked at me with her big gorgeous brown eyes full of excitement. I grabbed Kylie's hand and took her up to my room, to grab my luggage to put in the car. After what seemed like 3 hours of struggling, we finally put my luggage in the car.

It's finally time, the part I really wasn't looking forward to, saying goodbye to my family. I have a beautiful young mum, a funny and caring dad and two brothers who are the most loudest and annoying boys on this planet but who i love so much. They're literally my life, we have all become a lot closer since we all moved to Australia from the UK, I was 12. Mum's eyes started to fill with tears, and I started to become emotional, we all said our goodbyes with hugs and kisses and now its finally time to leave for the airport, and off we go.

Kylie and I are literally a few minutes from the airport, i could not believe it, i couldn't believe that my best friend and I was going to America for two weeks by ourselves! Shopping, summer, beach, pools, sand and my best friend, my sister, my other half. could life get any better ? i questioned myself.

We finally arrive at the airport, and I was overwhelmed. It just looked so big, I was excited, not because we are going to America, but because it was Kylie's first time going overseas, on a plane. I was excited the fact that this was her first time to go away and she was going away with me, I  felt lucky.

As I was unpacking all our bags and luggage from the back of Kylie's car, Kylie was saying goodbye to her mum. In a way I felt bad that I was taking Kylie away from Mikayla (Kylie's mum) for two weeks, as Mikayla is divorced, and Kylie is her only daughter.  Mikayla will be on her own and it upset me, knowing she wont have anyone.

I was standing there, awkwardly. Waiting, waiting for Kylie and her mum to say their goodbyes, i didn't want to rush they because we had plenty of time to board the plane. "I'll miss you" I hear Kylie say as I tear around to see Mikayla driving off. Kylie jumps on me, and screams down my left ear "TIME FOR AMERICA, TWO WEEKS BABY!".

i laughed as I pushed Kylie off me and replied "Let's go board the plane, unless we will miss it, knowing our luck!". We laughed, grabbed our luggage and headed to the front desk. We had no idea what to do, or where to go, as i have never been to an airport with out my parents, and like I said earlier Kylie has never even been abroad.

"Excuse me, we have no idea where we go, to catch the 358 to America?" Kylie says looking rather embarrassed.

The nice lady who's name was Belinda, just nodded her head and laughed.

"Come with me, first time away on your own?" Belinda asked.

We both smiled and agreed. Belinda took us to the line where we board the plane,

"Just wait here, your bags get checked, then you give the man at the front your ticket and then he will take you to your seat, have a nice holiday!" Belinda replied.

"Thank you so much" we both said thankfully.

We finally arrived at the front, put our bags on the side, and gave the man our ticket. He took us to our seats in row 327 S and wished us all the best for our journey.
