Rumors

I sleep in the next morning hoping Asher blocked me or his phone is being fixed or something. I'm scared to wake up and see him having texted me. My dad comes into my room and asked me if I'm ok. I just groan.

"I'll send a message to your English teacher telling her you'll miss the test..." I realize I have a test first period and jump out of my bed completely forgetting about being depressed and sleeping in. I got ready in 3 minutes, not even bothering with makeup, rush down stairs and see Hannah out side my door, upside down.

"Took ya long enough, I've been out here for 32 minutes, UPSIDE DOWN!!!"

"That's impossible" I try to act really smart so that even if I'm wrong it looks like I know what I'm saying.

"K! Fine.. 3.2 minutes"

"Hah!"

Hannah and I walk to school everyday together. We are next door neighbours so we hang out, a lot.
"Did you hear there was a HUGE! break up outside the library?"

"He did it with her sister!"

So. That is what people heard. Gosh. The way that rumours spread is ridiculous.

"I think it was Vanessa and Daniel, I knew it wouldn't work out!"

"Umm... actually it was me and Asher" I whispered.

"So Vanessa and Daniel are still together?" Asked Hannah

"Well no I think they broke up as well but back to the issue at hand."

"Yes! He had sex with your sister!, wait that doesn't. Hunh? Wait? What?! How? Why!!??"

I sighed knowing all the rumours that must be going around in her head. I just decided to say: "Long story short, he broke up with me, I cried, no sex involved! Ok?"

"OMG!! Are you ok?"

"Yeah, I'm find just sad, I guess."

"Here! Have some chocolate!"

"Okay. Thanks?"
