It was a sunny day, as Katsuki Bakugo strolled through the streets of his city.

The boy was off of school, and his friends invited him to stay with them for the day at Kaminari 's house.

The warm sun beat down on Bakugo's face, and he squinted his eyes shut. Turning a corner, the sun left his gaze and he was unblinded.

A few more blocks and he'd be there.

Bakugo hated to admit it but he quite enjoyed walking. That's why he never actually bought himself a bike, or used public transportation if he had the option to walk. Walking calmed him, and very few things did that.

Bakugo started to think. Lost in thought, wandering down the side walk in the shadow of a tall, wide building that he could only assume was some sort of department store, Bakugo ran into something.

"Agh-" the boy grunted and looked forward, snapped back to reality. "The fuck? Who are you?"

Standing before Bakugo was a tall male, with jet black hair that fell over his eyes in whispy strands. He had bright blue eyes. A bright, mesmerizing blue that seemed to swim and struggle within the restrictions of the man's irises.

The man was tall, very tall. He wasn't thin, but he wasn't overweight either. His arms were strong, and filled out his long sleeved turtleneck shirt well. His pants, a deep blue, were tucked into black combat boots.

"Sorry, sir! I wasn't paying attention!" the man exclaimed. His voice didn't match his appearance at all. It was low, and smooth. Almost too quiet to hear.

"Yeah yeah, my fault. Whatever. I have to go." Bakugo started forward again but the man stopped him.

"Wait! May I get your name?"

Bakugo stared confused. Why could this man possibly need Bakugo's name? He decided the man was no threat and obliged, a little irritated. "Bakugo. Bakugo Katsuki." He wasn't so sure why he felt the need to give his first name, but it happened.

Then something odd happened. Bakugo got caught in that sapphire gaze. His eyes locked onto the strangers eyes and wouldn't move. The blue, swimming orbs seemed to burn into Katsuki's soul. He could feel warm, tingly sensations filling his stomach.

The gaze... It felt warm. It felt comforting but also intimidating at the same time. Staring into those eyes, Katsuki felt safe. It was a strange feeling. He didn't want to take is eyes away. The entire outside world blurred. Katsuki felt as if his very soul was being probed gently, small crannies nobody else saw being brushed over by the unseen hands of some greater being. It was comforting really.

But then it ended. Just ended, abruptly. Bakugo felt a whine in his throat at the sudden emptiness inside him. That amazing feeling just suddenly disappearing.

But the man disappeared too. And realizing this snapped Katsuki back to reality.

'What the fuck was that?' the boy thought. He felt dizzy and lightheaded, and confused. What the hell just happened?

Katsuki looked around for the man. Nowhere to be seen.

Strange.

Why the fuck had he given that man his name?

Katsuki shook his head and decided to go on with his day. Starting to walk again, everything seemed normal again. That was, until Katsuki felt a soft tug on his left pinky.

He looked down and his eyes widened.

What the fuck was that wrapped around his finger?

A string? A piece of yarn?
