Chapter 6

Bruce's POV

I can't believe I told her part of the truth. Well, that's one thing I always wanted to do. Next thing I want to say or do is to tell her how I feel about her. Seeing her with another man just drives me nuts. Making me think that she has feelings for that other man. I bet J'onn thinks there is something pulling us together. I can't have a relationship with her. I have a mission. It will never work. I just know it. I don't wanna break her heart.

Diana's POV

I know that Bruce has feelings for me. But for some reason, he didn't wanna tell. I know he has a mission but, I know that his parents would wanna see Bruce falling in love. Getting married. And starting a family. But he doesn't want to. He's just too stubborn. As always. "Bruce, I don't have feelings for Kal. You already know who I have feelings for.

Bruce's POV

"I know princess but, you know we can never work out." I can't believe I said that. I'm just hurting her even more. If I hurt her right now. I swear I will kill myself. "Bruce, how do you even know we won't work out?" She said. I was already hurting her. Dammit. "I-" "I'm leaving Bruce." She said.

Diana's POV

I was mad and hurt that Bruce said that. I was about to walk out the door when Bruce grabbed my wrist and pulled me roughly to his chest."Bruce, I'm done waiting for you. If you don't wanna be with me fine."

BRUCE'S POV

I was shocked at what I heard. She was waiting for me this whole time and I took it like it was just nothing. I'm such a bastard. She was about to walk away when I pulled her roughly against my chest again. "Bruce please." She said. I couldn't take it anymore. I seized her lips with mine. I know this was something we both wanted for a long time.
