When Zayn arrived home he remembered, he still hadn't opened that certain E-mail yet, sure he had got more but none of the important once, non of with a topic that read "IMPORTANT ZAYN'. He was so preoccupied with Harry that he didn't think about it anymore. Damn him.

He sat down behind his desk taking a sip from his steaming hot tea while waiting for his MacBook to start up.

When everything was set he logged into his mail an saw some other things had come in. 2 of his mother and a couple of some business partners that he would all answer later. He scrolled down till he spotted the email. He cursed at himself for not having seen the sender's name. He should have opened it right as he got it which was now almost 2 days later. He opened it quickly having wasted precious time.

From: Steven McLee

To: Zayn Malik

Date: Saturday 10/09/14 10:13:01

Topic: IMPORTANT ZAYN

Zayn,

I know you are a busy man and I hope you'll read this soon. Because as the topic read it's important. This is about Harry by the why but I think you already figured.

You asked me to keep you up to date with things I see that happen that involve Harry and as you asked me I also followed him around.

You may or may not know but Harry went to Ministry of Sound on Friday. He was with 3 other men. Who I've come to turns with are his roommates or at least the 3 men he lives with. Now that is beside the point.

I listened in on a conversation that night, held between two older men. I think we should meet up for this, so I can tell you properly what happened. Clearly I'm not much of a person who likes to communicate via email.

You have my phone number.

Contact me ASAP

McL.

"Shit, shit, shit!" Zayn yelled. He stood up and patted his pockets another mantra of curses leaving his mouth when his phone was not in his pocket.

He walked over to the kitchen, thinking he probably left it their when he made his tea.

He walked into the kitchen, seeing an object on the counter that was reflecting the sunlight. He sighed in relief, walked over to it and dialled Stevie.

"Hi McLee speaking."

"Ah business mode on I see." Zayn joked, even though it wasn't a time for jokes really.

"Malik finally! I was starting to think you didn't get my email."

"I did, I did." Zayn sighed annoyingly while walking back to his office. It was silent on the other line so Zayn spoke up again.

"So when do you have time to meet up? It's only five thirty."

"Sorry I can't I'm with my family now actually..." Steven answered, feeling sorry for Zayn.

"Oh really? Everything okay?"

Steven and Zayn weren't just 'partners' they were also really good friends actually. Steven was... you could say Zayn's private investigator. But he did some other stuff too...

Zayn heard some muffled voices and then footsteps, a door that closed, another door and the-- "Sorry about that, my girlfriend is here with my family for the first time. I can't just leave her alone."
