"I have a theory," Stephen Strange cleared his throat, already affected by you, "have you looked into your family lineage?"

"Well no. I'm a regular person. I'm just a mutant, right?" you answered. You two were seated in your new room, Thor was standing by you as 'protection'.

"Maybe," Strange licked his lips and studied the results of your DNA tests again, "everything seems to point to human in your DNA. There are no mutated genes though. You're quite the mystery,"  a pause followed, you weren't too happy to hear that you were back to square one, "If you're comfortable with it, I think we should conduct some experiments with the humans here. Those who are most affected," Strange was smiling more.

"Okay. So you'll put me in a room with them..." you suggested.

"Yeah. Hook them up and check their vitals every few minutes...or seconds," Strange noticed his sweaty palms and stood up. "I should go, I'll get some subjects and meet you in the lab in 10," he patted your shoulder and cursed.

"This...sucks," you paced around the room.

"I know," Thor replied and cleared his throat, gaining your attention, "I think I should be a test subject,"

"Really? Why?"

"Well, I find myself feeling-" Thor didn't know if he should admit his emotions, "feeling hot and bothered sometimes. I think your powers affect living beings, not just humans." you fell onto your bed, defeated.

"Great," you muttered.

"Let's go, don't want to keep them waiting."

"Are you comfortable?" Strange asked Natasha. She inhaled and nodded. You were outside of the room watching. Her hands were strapped to a chair and she had wires attached to her pulse points, as well as a blood pressure monitor and a device covering her left eye to scan her pupils.

When you entered the heart rate monitor started beeping faster. "Oh boy," Nat blinked slowly and grinned, it was like she was on LSD. Her head was in a daze and her core was already burning for you, "Um," she squirmed in her chair, "hi" she breathed.

"Hi," your tone was much calmer than hers. Her breathing quickened, "it's nice to meet you face to face,"

"Ah" she squealed and continued to squirm, "it's my pleasure." Nat attempted to keep a clear head but it was a lot harder than she thought it would be.

"Do you mind reading the questions on the glass, Y/N?" Strange asked through the intercom. You read them silently in your head at first, "out loud?"

"I know," you smiled.

"You have the most mesmerising smile I've ever seen," Nat's sultry voice interrupted your thoughts. You gulped, feeling invasive by asking these questions.

"Nat-" you began.

"Yes," she breathed out and tried breaking free of her straps.

"What would you do if I untied you?"

"Anything you command," you tilted your head in curiosity.

"Would you do anything for me, at any moment?" you went off script. Nat nodded and continued smiling, "why?"

"Because...because you make me feel good. You bring me life, magic, love, riches and leadership. I'd follow you into any battle, I'd follow you to the moon," Nat confessed, her doe eyes leaking salty tears. Everyone was silent. You stood up and walked towards Nat, her heart rate picking up even more. When you untied her she froze. Everyone froze, not knowing what you were doing.

"Go to the med bay and calm yourself down."

"But don't you want-"

"Anything I asked, right?" you lead her to the door, when she left, Bucky was hooked up.

"Test subject 2, James Barnes, enhanced human," Strange recorded his voice, "same questions but ask them again in 20 minutes,"

You did as you were told, making small chit chat between those minutes.

"How are you feeling?" you asked.

"Like a guinea pig," he joked, it dissipated some of the tension.

"So tell me more about the Howling Commandos."

"You know about them?"

"Only bits and pieces from the museum. You look a lot different,"

"I am a lot different," Bucky was still relaxed and it made you feel a lot better.

"Growing up in a time of war with zero indulgences, it must be a lot different to now." You glanced at Bucky's metallic arm, accidentally checking out the rest of him in the process. That made his heart rate pick up.

"Um. Yeah," he tried calming himself down.

"That's on me. I looked at you for too long, I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize. A doll as sweet as you can do no wrong," Bucky's reaction was less sweet and more flirtatious. He still smiled but it was definitely one of those 'panty dropper' smirks. You breathed in and out deeply.

"Um...would you do if I untied you?" you began with the questions.

"I'm still me." oh, so the flirting was indeed intentional. You knawed at your bottom lip, trying not to smile at the realisation.

"When we were training the other day and you had to leave...what was going through your mind?"

Bucky gulped, his breathing picked up as well as his heart rate, "Um," he chuckled, remembering the inappropriate thoughts, "I don't- I don't think I should say," he cleared his throat, becoming uncomfortable by the minute.

"James, it would help me out tremendously if I knew what was going on in the minds of others to help me better understand these ridiculous powers," the distance between you two was closing and Bucky could feel himself falling into your grasp.

"I thought about-"

"Louder please" Strange spoke through the intercom, Bucky sighed.

"I thought about...taking you on the floor of the gym. With everyone around, just watching with envy. It wasn't just animalistic, I felt something deeper and I still feel it even when I'm not around you," Bucky admitted.

"Thank you," you told him, admitting something that personal in front of people would have been hard.

Thor was next, he took even longer to respond to the questions. It seemed like the stronger your subject, the longer it took to take effect. But Strange still wasn't sure Thor was being affected by your power, it may have just been you alone.

"May I speak with you alone?" Thor pulled you aside.

"Yeah, what's going on?" you two stood in the hallway.

"I have a theory about who you are," you didn't respond, only listened to give him the benefit of the doubt, "I think you're a Goddess."
