A Twist of Reality

Chapter One: The Beginning

*Ring ~~ ring~~ring~~*

"ugh...."

Turning off my alarm clock is what I always do first thing in the morning. Then, getting up, putting on my uniform and cooking my own breakfast.

If I do say so myself, I'm quite good at it. Actually I'm great at household chores, one of the reasons maybe because I grew up without my parents. They died when I was about two years old in a car accident. I was too young when that happened so it doesn't really bother me.

After eating breakfast, I set off for school. I chose my school because of how close it was to my house so I didn't have to spend that much on tranportation and also because the uniform was cute.

Instead of ribbons, girls wore neckties and the color depended on what year they were, with white blouses with a black collar and skirt. It's a bit plain but it's cute enough for me.

"Risa!!!! Ohayou~~~"

Seeing a girl with short light brown hair with bangs and also dark brown eyes, I immediately perk up as that is my childhood friend that knows me really well because we grew up together since we were in kindergarten. We got really close back then when she defended me from bullies that were teasing me.

"Un, Ohayou Sakura"

"Today's the day Risa!! Aren't you excited" - Sakura

"Why? Is there some event today?" - Risa

"Mouuu~~~ You are so out of it as ever! Today we're going to have a transfer student, aren't you curious if it's a girl or a boy?" - Sakura

"Hmmm.. Not that much really. I just hope they'll be able to get along with the rest of the class" - Risa

"As expected of 'Okasan', kind as always" - Sakura

"Can you please stop with that nickname. I'm too young for that" - Risa

"No can do, that's just how it is" - Sakura

*sighs*- Risa

Chatting along the way with Sakura, we finally arrived at school. They're always a lot of people at the gate as always. I wonder who they're waiting for?

"As expected of 'Okasan', today's no joke as well huh" *whispers* - Sakura

"Hmm?? What was that Sakura?" - Risa

"Nothing at all" *laughs* - Sakura

"Mouu~~" - Risa

Ignoring the crowd, we headed to our classroom which was room 1-A.

Greeting everyone as usual once we were inside and finding our seats because it's about time for the bell to ring.

*kring!!~~kring!!~~kring!!~~*

Our homeroom teacher, Jin Kurosaki just entered the classroom with a big smile on his face. He had a clean cut with black hair and quite the proportional face which got him really popular with the female student population in the school.

"Good morning class, I'm sure you've already heard the news. We got a transfer student today. Please  come in." - Jin

The one that entered was a very tall guy with blonde hair with emerald colored eyes.

"Pretty..." - Risa

Little did I know, everything was going to change.
