The Junior Trip

WASHINGTON

We landed in Washington and the teachers told us we were going out to dinner and having some sort of meeting. We get to the European restaurant. I'm not very hungry but to avoid the teachers noticing I get food. Lucky Jabez isn't on my table. He's on the one behind me. I honestly wish he was. Maybe I could have talked to him.

As we sat down we all had small talk and listened to the teachers

Soon dinner was over and it was time to see what the hotel looked like. The bus ride was exhausting.

We get to the hotel and up into the rooms. Sadly our group leader has to take our phones away. That night we all talk about crushes and drama because that's what girls do I guess. I talked about Jabez and about how I'm not sure what my feelings towards him are.

We finally went to sleep

The next morning we all woke up to the sound of an annoying alarm and our chaperone knocking at the door.
7:00 and everyone was ready we went down stairs to get breakfast and started our day.

The day seemed to go by to fast

There was a gift shop and I had money so I went in. The line was getting long and we didn't want the teachers to cut us off. So I offered to pay for Ivy, Katrina and Mays items on my card. We were standing in line and Jabez walks up to our group

"Hey are you in line?" He asked

I froze and didn't know what to do. Why wasn't anyone else talking? Was he speaking to me?

"Um yea we are" I blurted out obviously nervous and blushing. He walked pass and Katrina and Ivy started getting excited.

I payed and on the bus I texted Cadey telling her that I talked to Jabez. I purposely made it seem like an actual conversation when he was just asking a simple question.

Then we went back to the hotel
