The Junior Trip

Getting There

It's was the Friday's that we leave and I was so nervous. What if I have to sit next to him? What would I do, what would I say? I ask my friend Cadey about it in art.

"What would I do if I sit next to him?"

You should try to talk to him and maybe get closer and be his friend. This trip is good for you.Cadey says with a smug smile on her face.

Nope nope nope I'm going to stay as far as I can away from him so this "crush" doesn't become any stronger and I get over him.

Whatever you say. She says.

At the airport.

My mom and I get to the airport and check in with my group leader and a couple of my friends I say good bye to my mom and we go through TSA.
Everything when pretty fast so me Ivy, Katrina and May go get Starbucks.
Katrina and May are our roommates.

It's time to board  the flight and I get my ticket going around to people that I know trying to see who I'm going to sit next to. I separate from Ivy and board the plane. I sit down in the middle of the middle row (it's a 7 seat plane). In the row behind and to the right was Jabez and in the row behind him was Ivy. I quickly text Ivy that the boy that I sort of like sat in front of her.
The fight was pretty easy the girl I sat next to never flew on a plane so I had to comfort her. I slept for most of the flight but woke up around 10 and ate some gummy bears. The teacher came around and told me to get some sleep i politely smiled and nodded. Before I went back to sleep I looked over at Jabez. What a cutie.

The plane ride ended and we were in Colorado our next stop was Washington the final destination. It was fucking freezing 30°. I was basically shaking and wanting to cry. I was only wearing leggings and a hoodie. Time went by and we all sat down by the next gate. Me and my friends( Ivy, Katrina, and May) sat facing the glass. Jabez was sitting close to us just on his phone. Katrina started a live and we just talked they tried to get me to talk to him but my ani-social ass thought it would have been weird if I did. I sent a little video of him to Cadey. Cadey didn't go on the trip but she was the first one to know about Jabez and her brother plays basketball with his brother so she kinda knows him. She sends me a screenshot of his last story. I ignore it because it was something stupid.
The next flight was only 4 hours and we soon got to Washington.
