I tried to fall back asleep, but all I could do was think about my dream. I looked at the microwave clock, 4:00 a.m. I groaned. "Only six hours of sleep, is that all you give me?" I said to no one in particular.
"Jeeze, sounds like someone got up on the wrong side of the bed. Well, hammock."
I turned around in my hammock. It was only Caity. "Sorry I forgot four is the meeting time. What did you bring me this time?" I asked her.
"Oh, well, just because it's your fifth year living up here today, I decided to bring you this." She pulled a small box out of her pocket. She then opened it. "Ta-da! Cupcakles for you! I baked them last night. I told my mom that I was only baking five, in case John or Amy want one. The other two are for the girls. And, of course, one for me."
"Ok." I said and took one. The vanilla, because I DO NOT like chocolate. At all. "So, when are you bringing me those seeds?"
                              "What seeds?"
"Oh, I haven't told you yet." I was filling with excitement as I turned around to scoop up Mapel.
"Say hello to Mapel." I said, holding Mapel out to Caity so she could see my bird.
"O my gowsh. Is dat a phoenix?" She said, her eyes wide.
