After Caity and Mapel got aquainted, I let Mapel take a small bite of my cupcake.
"So,what are you up to these days?" Caity asked me.
"Nothing much, just staying unseen."
"Like always?" Caity asked me, sarcastically.
"Yeah, pretty much."
"Anything else? You know, besides the usual."
"Well, besides the phoenix, not much." Instantly after mentioning Mapel, I though about my dream. But I decided that it would be better not to tell her.
"Have you ever read about phoenixes before?" She asked.
"No."
"You should, it will help you learn how to take care of Mapel, if you find the right stuff."
"Ok, I'll try it today, after I get some more sleep."
"Ok. I should go now, my mom will be coming to wake me up soon, so bye"
"Bye."
After she left I curled up on my hammock to try and get some sleep. It didn't work. Soon I found myself still awake at 6:00 and decided I would eat and go to the library.
