A/N: I am sorry for the shortness of this chapter. Yup. Thats really it, now enjoy!

Next week rolled around, being honest I felt like crap. I was staying in the dorm, doing reruns of Doctor Who and napping. Kathryn brought me homework, and work that I was missing. We sort of had a system, it worked really well. “Thank you Kathryn.” I sniffled. She smiled, then nodded and handed me my homework on a clipboard. I got my Doctor Who pencil out of our pencil jar. I began to scribble down answers to homework. Math, language arts, science, and finally History.

On Wednesday the Doctor came to our dorm, it was no wonder that Kathryn was out with her boyfriend on a Wednesday night date. A fancy restaurant I guess. The Doctor smiled as he entered the room “You doing okay?” He sat next to me in his armchair. I smiled “Fine.” I sniffled. He put his hand on my forehead, I stiffened. “Just a small fever, probably just the common cold.” He said. I shrugged, his hand falling back onto the arm of the chair. I turned on the TV and flicked it to the British News Channel. The Doctor whipped out his sonic screwdriver and I stared intently at it. He pressed the button and it buzzed. The TV went fuzzy for a moment and then it turned off. He stared at the sonic screwdriver and then murmured “That’s odd.” I looked down at my British flag pillow and snuggled my head deeper into it murmuring “I have a headache.” The Doctor glanced at me, then went into the kitchen. I could hear him turn on the sink and run a glass of water. Then he went straight for the medicine cabinet and grabbed two ibuprofens. He strode over to me, handing me the glass of water then the medicine. I popped the pills in my mouth and took a long drink of water.

Friday swung its way in the door and the Doctor continued to visit me every day to keep up on my recovery progress. There was only one problem; I wasn’t progressing in fact, it was the exact opposite. I was sweating, the Doctor would give reassuring words like “Don’t worry, it’ll be over soon sweetie.” and “Its fine, its just the worst part after this you’ll get better.” though he tried, he couldn’t stay long. Sometimes he would make us some tea and get out some foods. He would watch telly with me and then he would leave. He had a classroom full of kids to attend to after Lunch period.

I took long, soothing naps and when Kathryn was in the dorm in between classes she would comfort me as well, making sure I ate enough and was getting enough fluids to wash this sickness out of my system. But none of it helped, it didn’t even seem to make a difference. I tried to focus on other things, I read every book in the dorm. I would sit there and write about how I felt, dumb right? Well when you get bored you will do anything for entertainment.
