Chapter 1- Time to Leave
Mike's POV (Age 16) - The Main Character in every fanfic here in this book
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock beeping so loud. I turned it off and put on my shirt on the bedside table. I don't know where did I get the habit of being shirtless, but one day it's gonna be embarrassing.
I got off my bed, took a nice warm shower, got dressed for school, grabbed my backpack and head downstairs starting my normal average life. I went to the kitchen to have my breakfast
"Morning Mom," I said to my mom who's busy reading her daily newspaper
"Morning sweet pea" She smiled at me while I grab a bowl, putting my favorite cereal and milk in it while I take a seat at the table getting lost in my thoughts.
Oh how I wish to be like 'The Earth Mightiest Heroes', who saves people, gets credit for their work, and have awesome superpowers minus the others.
Life would be perfect if you're a superhero, I always wanted to be one so I could join the 'Avengers' the team who always saves the Earth.

Captain America the Super Soldier who fought for our country in World War II who is also known as Steve Rogers
Black Widow a former Russian spy turned into a badass S.H.I.E.L.D Agent who is also Natasha Romanoff
Hawkeye an assassin who mastered archery and can kill anyone in a far range who's real name is Clint Barton
Thor Odinson the god of thunder who saved the Earth from his mischievous brother Loki with help from his team
The Hulk who is an accident from a gamma-ray explosion that packs a punch when angry, but when calm multi Ph.D. genius Bruce Banner
But at last dreams like that don't come true for guys like me, who lives a normal average life with my former SHIELD agent mom who left her job to have a normal life with me, and the reason why that I know some classified stuff, and love my superhero idols because she tells me stories about them.
"Mike, Mike" My mom calls me getting me back to reality
"Oh, what is it Mom," I replied noticing that once again I ate my food while I'm thinking, seeing my bowl is empty
"What are you thinking about" She knows me so well
"Nothing, just some stuff," I said, even though she knows what I'm thinking, and not wanting to bring out the conversation of 'superheroes' at her demand
"Thinking about having a boyfriend" She jokes at me, and this is the best part, she 'knows' that part about me.
"No, and I told you no one would like to go out with a person like me" I sigh knowing that no one will ever come up to me and ask me out
"And I told you that someone will when the time is right" She reassured me making me smile again
I hugged her and she hugged me back. "Mom, you always know what to say"
