I wrote this on Suicide Awareness Day.

'No, don't tell them to kill themselves, it's Suicide Awareness Day.'

Who even cares if it's suicide awareness day?

are told to kill themselves EVERYDAY. Why is this day any different from the others? No-body should be told to end their lives, ever.

And the thing is, we will all go on about this stuff, won't we, 'Suicide is bad!' 'She was so nice, she shouldn't have killed herself.' 'He was such a nice person, he didn't deserve that.'

Are any of us actually, seriously, literally stopping bullying?

Stopping the smart remarks, - 'Ooh, go cut yourself!' 'You're ugly. Lol. Just kidding.'

Stopping the harmless 'jokes'.

We can all write a million statuses, have a million days dedicated to this stuff.

Nothing's going to change if we keep doing the same things.

No-one can stop this happening but us.

Can't people just be nice to one another for once?

Rest in Peace to those who have taken their own lives. You are loved, you are missed.
