Jacob's Imprint?

Prologue

Luna POV

"Hey dad." I say taking a seat with him on the couch. Me and dad were like best friends, we told each other everything and we had absolutely no secrets which is why I was sitting with him now.

"Hi honey.. what's up?" He asked giving me a smile.

"I.. I've been feeling strange lately." I say to him and he tilts his head to the side showing his confusion.

"What do you mean strange?" He asked.

"I don't know, I've been feeling really hot for the past week and I get mad so easily over the stupidest thing. Today I almost beat up a boy at school just for looking at me weird." I say making his eyes widen.

"I need to call Sam." He says making me confused as he got up.

"What do you mean to call Sam dad? What can he do? He's not a doctor nor a psychiatrist!" I feel my voice rising why am I getting so mad?!

"He can help you." Dad says making me shake my head.

"I need to go." I say feeling a strange heat radiate from my body.

"Luna!" I hear my dad yell in worry as he had the phone to his ear but I ran out the door feeling the burning get hotter and hotter by the second causing me to run faster into the woods until I looked down and noticed I was running in all fours and that I had fur around me. Kind of an ashy color but not completely black probably a dark grey? What the hell is going on?! I look around and I could see so much better like my eyes could look into the woods for miles, my sense of smell a lot stronger than normal. I finally noticed that I had stopped running and when I look around I noticed a wolf, a pure black wolf standing there looking at me.

"Come with me." I hear the distorted voice in my head making my whine but follow his order following behind him till we made it to a few trees. He got behind them and when he came out my eyes widen to notice Sam standing there.

"Think about how you look like, how you look when you look in the mirror." He says and I do as I'm told closing my eyes to imagine it better before opening my eyes and my vision was back to normal I looked down at my hands to see my hands and not paws.

"Here." I hear Sam say to notice him looking away handing me a shirt.. that's when I noticed I was naked. I quickly took the shirt and put it on over my exposed body. The shirt belonged to Sam I could tell that much, it went down to my mid thighs and I walk towards Sam pulling slightly on his hand, he was shirtless.

"What's happening to me?" I ask and he gave me a small smile petting my head.

"Come on, your dad's worried. We'll explain when we're there and you're properly dressed." He said taking my hand reassuringly and leading the way towards my house. There I learned that all the legends where real, that I actually am a shapeshifter.. a werewolf. Turns out I had been the second one to phase. Sam recommended me to not go to school for a few weeks while I get my anger and phasing under control, dad had agreed. Sam also told dad that it was better if I spend a few hours with him a day for him to help me train to which dad had agreed.. I also found out I wasn't allowed to see anyone other than dad and Sam and maybe Emily.. Sam's imprint.

I found out that an imprint is actually your other half, someone you'd do anything for. I found out that I could hear Sam's thoughts as well. He told me I was to become his beta meaning I was the second in command being the second one to have phased. Dad seemed happy for me because apparently it was rear for females to have the gene far less actually phase.

For the past month I was non stop training, Jacob had called but I couldn't tell him not until he phased too. It hurt me to stay away from him but I had to for his own safety. Today I was allowed to see Jacob again and I couldn't have been more happy as I made my way to his house. We all lived pretty close to each other actually so when I smelled the air and I smelled 4 people in Jacob's mechanic room I made my way there to find Bella, Quil and Embry with Jacob.

"Hey guys." I say making my way inside.

"Look who finally decided to join us." Quil says when he looks at me but his eyes widen. I haven't seen any of them over a month and I'm sure I look different.

"Oh shut up." I say rolling my eyes.

"Wow, look at you. You look.. different." Embry says making me chuckle.

"Is that a bad thing?" I ask raising a brow and walking closer to them.

"You spend a whole month god knowing where, no calls no text no going to school, I go to your house just for your dad to tell me you're not there and now you come back all of a sudden looking like this.. what have you been doing that is so important that you couldn't even talk to me?" I sigh I still haven't actually seen Jacob just looking at Embry and Quil.

"I can't exactly tell you that Jake. I was.. away for a while." I say looking down.

"Why can't you tell me? I'm your best friend aren't I?" His voice sounded mad.

"I don't even know why you're so-" I stop when I look into his eyes and freeze. No.. no this can't be happening. I look at Bella then back at Jake.

"I can't do this." I say and turn around to start running away blocking their confused calls for my name. No.. this is just.. this is my awful fate? Imprinting on someone who's in love with someone else?

I make it home and open the door to see dad there in the couch watching a game that he turned off as soon as he saw me.

"What's wrong sweetheart?" He asked moving to me and giving me a hug.. I didn't even know I was crying until he did that.

"I just imprinted on Jake." I mumble making him push me away holding me by the shoulder to look in my eyes.

"What?" He asked surprised.

"I just imprinted on Jacob.. who's in love with Bella Swan." I say looking in his now sad eyes as he hugs me to his chest again.
