America walked down the halls of the Tokyo Conference Hall looking for an exit from the building. The World Conference had just ended five minutes ago and America had spent the next ten looking for an exit. America was just about to give up and try to find Japan so the Japanese man could point him towards the exit when he saw it. The glorious signed that clearly stated in red glowing letters, E-X-I-T. 'Finally! Sweet freedom' America thought to himself before walking towards the exit only to come face to face with a chest. Well it's technically face to chest if you think about it.'Ah great! What now?' America internally grumbled looking up at the owner of the chest. "Hey Amerika!" An accent voice greeted with a sharp tone. "Turkey?" The younger nation said more to himself than the Turk in front of him. Turkey and him had never spoken outside of business so it's a little odd for the elder nation to be stopping him in the hall after a meeting.
"America? What's wrong?" The other nation asked waving a hand in front of the American's face. America snapped out of his thoughts and shook his head. "Nothing's wrong. It's just you've never really talked to me outside of political stuff and meetings so I'm just wondering why you're talking to me." America's words seemed to have caught Turkey off guard but he quickly regained his composure.
"Is it so wrong to want to talk to an ally?" Turkey asked looking slightly offended sending America into a rambling state. "I'm sorry! It's not wrong to wanna talk with an ally bro. Allies are awesome, sorry if I offended you. Did I offend you? I didn't mean to, I swear on my heroicness! I'm so sorr--" America cut himself off when he felt the Turk calmly place his hands on his slightly shoulders.
"Amerika, bu iyi. I'm just teasing you and you know 'heroicness' isn't a word, right?" Turkey teased the American who blushed slightly in embarrassment as he realized he'd been ranting again. "It's a word to me." America pouted. "Fair point. Anyway, would you like to get something to eat, bir tanem?" The Turkish man asked in a surprisingly flirty tone causing the Japanese man watching from the corners eye to twitch.
Japan had been leaving after spending a little time with the other former axis powers when he came upon his old friend and his beloved. Japan had been in love with America for as long as he could remember. It started when he was forced out of isolation only to come face to face with the world. America was one of the first countries to introduce himself and his culture to Japan's country and for that Japan was grateful. Video games, anime, etc. they seemed to get along with each other.
To the Japanese Nation, The United States of America was the epitome of an angel. Soft honey blonde hair with that one stubborn piece of hair America called Nantucket (which Japan found adorable), gorgeous blue eyes that reminded Japan of the most precious sapphires, skin that looked like it had been kissed by Amaterasu (sun goddess) herself, and a bright smile that could woo anyone it was directed that.
And it wasn't only his looks that Japan was in love with. No, it was also the blondes overall personality and kindness towards others. America would help anyone he could even if it meant risking his own life and the thought both made Japan feel proud and scared. What really pissed Japan off though, is how other nations would take advantage of him and his kindness.
They would tease and bully him about his weight, country, and people only to guilt trip him into sending them supplies and trading with them. Because of all of the teasing and jabs at his weight America refuses to see himself as anything other than a greedy, narcissistic pig who didn't deserve anything. It wasn't true in the least bit. Japan had to admit he was no saint when it came to insulting America but he later reassured the younger nation that he didn't mean anything he said. Ever since he followed (stalked) America to make sure other nation won't take advantage of him when he was alone.
Alright back to the present.
"Sorry Turkey but I'm not in a mood for going out right now. Meetings really take a lot out of a guy, y'know?" America said turning down the Turk's invitation. "The United States of America not in a mood to eat? The world must be coming to an end." Turkey exaggerated before wrapping his arms the startled American. "Come on it's just for an hour. I'll make it worth your wile~" Turkey accompanied this by moving one of his hands downward and squeezing America's buttocks earning a squeak from the still startled nation.
"T-Turkey? What're you g-grabbin' there, bro?" America's words seemed to have been a trigger for the Japanese man watching them and he quickly started walking towards the two other nations. "Turkey-san, it is crear America-san said no to your request. Prease ret go of him. Now." Japan said in a passive aggressive tone which caused the American and Turk's heads to snap in his direction.
"Japan?!" "Japonya.." Came America's surprised greeting and Turkey disgruntled murmur. "Why should I let go of him, hm? For all you know he could want this~" Turkey said but was rejected by America once again. "But I don't want this!" America exclaimed breaking free of Turkey's grip before going over to Japan who's hand was hovering above his katana strapped to his waist.
"You heard him he doesn't want you. Now go and never bother us again, okay?" Japan's state held a sort of fire. A fire that only be born from love. The gears in Turkey's head clicked as he slowly realized Japan was in fact, in love with America. Turkey slowly started to walk away but not before saying, "Good luck, you two!". Japan had slight flush on his face while America looked on confused about what the Turkish Nation was talking about.
When Turkey was out of sight America shrugged off his words as no more than parting malice. America turned to Japan and started to speak. "Thanks for helping me back there, Japan. Turkey was acting kinda weird." America smiled at the Japanese nation causing a little blood to come out of Japan's nose. He quickly covered it up with a tissue though. "Anytime, America-san. I was just protecting what's mine." Japan froze when he heard those words slip out of his own mouth.
"Protecting what's yours?" America asked "Dude we're not even dating--" America was cut off by Japan. "We courd be. We courd date." Japan mentally slapped himself for even saying those words. Their friendship was obviously over now!! "Kiku Honda, are you asking me on a date?" America's words and teasing tone snapped Japan out of mentally scolding himself.
"No, no, no! I'm merery suggesting that we--" Kiku was cut off when Alfred pecked him softly on the lips. "Cause' the answers yes." Alfred said winking at the now blushing Japanese man. "Wha-rearry?" Kiku asked himself more than the American. Then it all came crashing down. His crush whom he'd liked for a long time was saying he'd go on a date with him. "Is this a dream?" Kiku unconsciously said cupping the American's cheek feeling the soft skin underneath the tips of his fingers.
"Maybe~." Alfred teased leaning into the hand on his cheek. "Then I never want to wake up." Kiku declared pressing his lips against Alfred's own soft ones. Kiku shuddered when he felt sparks between them like it was the most right thing in the world. Kiku regrettably broke the kiss only to say, "Watashi wa, anata o aishiteimasu." At Alfred's confused face he decided to translate. "I love you, so much." The American Nation's face brightened up when he heard his now boyfriend say he loved him.
Truth be told no one had ever told him they loved him other than his mother.
Alfred started to cry a little but but regained his composure enough to say, "I love you too, keeks." Kiku smiled at the nickname wrapping an arm around his partner's waist before guided them out the exit that started the whole event.
"Ret's go get dinner, okay?"
"Okay dude."
The couple then shared one final kiss before heading off into the night their hands intertwined with one another. For once they both felt happiness and nothing was going to take this feeling away from Japan.
NOTHING.
NOT EVEN THE ENTIRE DANM WORLD
