"Madi?"
Mickey called softly to his sister, watching as she sat on the steps.
Ever since his beloved twin had come back from the dead Mickey couldn't help but notice something was different.
"What?"
She huffed, smoke coming out of her mouth.
"What's wrong?"
Mickey swallowed hard, feeling uneasy as he watched his sister.
"What's wrong?"
Madison repeated with a bitter chuckle, shaking her head as she faced her brother.
"What's wrong is that I died and you were no where to be found!"
Madison screamed at him, Mickey flinching back at the noise.
"Madi I didn't know, I couldn't have-"
"Yes you could've!"
The girl shrieked at him, stomping towards him.
"You could've saved me! Why didn't you save me?"
Madison screamed in her brother's face, shoving him back roughly.
"Madi I'm sorry-"
"I hate you!"
Madison shouted, heavily breathing as Mickey's eyes widened.
"I hate you! I hate you!"
The girl stormed away without a second glance.
Mickey slid down the wall, his hands shaking as he tried to process what had just happened.
He'd always tried to protect Madison, whether it was life threatening or not he always did whatever he could to keep her out of harms way.
However the one time it had mattered he'd let her down.
"Mickey, Mickey are you alright?"
Mickey could hear Cordelia calling for him.
"I'm fine,"
Mickey cleared his throat as his voice cracked.
"I'm fine Cordelia."
He repeated, pushing himself off the ground as he made his way back toward his room.
"I heard yelling."
The blind woman told him in confusion.
"It was nothing, don't worry about it."
Even though the woman couldn't see Mickey gave her a kind smile as he passed by, hurrying into his room.
Mickey's head was spinning as he slid down the wall down to the floor.
The boy couldn't help but feel lost, Madison was the one person he could always count on.
And now she hated him like every other witch in the ungodly house.
