Benjamin crossed the vast training center floor, where all the chariots were parked, back over to his own districts station.

"Where have you been boy? It'stime to go to our floors!" His escort scolded him in her high heeled glory.

"Making friends." He said simply when he saw the rest of the district one crew watching him curiously.

"Nobody will want to be friends with you boy, you're district one. We do not have friends." His mentor told him harshly.

Ben pushed his mentor's words out of his mind, those so close to his own father's.

Ash saw Juniper talking to some of the District ten tributes.
She waited for Juniper to come back towards district seven's chariot to talk to her about it.

"Who were they?" Ash poked her back.

Apparently Juniper didn't hear her, because she swung her elbow back, which almost clipped her stomach, but Ash moved out of the way in a nick of time.

"Jesus, warn me next time." Juniper whirled around to speak to her, the sparkles and lines of twisty vines around her face pulling out the green in Juniper's glaring hazel eyes.

"Sorry." Ash said, her voice not sounding it at all. "Who are your new friends?"

"It doesn't matter." Juniper snipped, turning away from her.

Just then a girl, much taller and muscular came to them.

"Must be a little jumpy then? Scared much seven?" The girl smirked, almost looking like a sneer.

Juniper scowled. "The name's Juniper." She said, her words would've sliced through any kind of tree if they were a blade.

"Whatever Jupiter. My name is Fayora." She turned to Ash's petite form.

"Lemme guess. You're from Two?" Ash quirked her head to the side. "And you're here to enlist Juniper as an ally, only because you see her as a potential threat. Well, I'm sorry to break it to you but she already has a decent alliance, you were to slow to the chase, and lost your chance. Good day to you." Ash pushed Fayora in the chest with her fingertips as she hooked her arm through Juniper's and lead her away from the girl.

Juniper looked over their shoulders and saw Fayora glaring at them like they were her dinner and she a lion.

"That probably wasn't a good idea." Juniper mumbled under her breath while the two joined the circle where Theodore, Olivette, and Wesley were standing with their stylists and escort.

"I don't care." Ash said whimsically waving her hand.

"You might care if she's got you pinned to the ground holding a knife to your throat." Juniper retorted.

"If that happens, then I'm counting on you to avenge my dead body." Ash waved off her concern.

She had never minded or valued her own life much, though the ones of others around her, her opinions varied.
Ash would much rather someone else win the games, even if it meant at the cost of her own life.

Wesley watched Juniper talk to two of the boys from ten, and then get stuck talking to Ash.
He almost interfered when the girl from two came up to them, sounding less than kind.
From what he could tell, Ash handled it and they made their way back to where he stood, muttering to themselves.

He watched the way Juniper moved, her beautiful face half hidden under the outrageous makeup pulled onto it.

Wesley had to snap himself out of the trance she always put him in when she walked by.
Pay attention.
He reprimanded himself, though sooner than he would have liked, his mind trailed back to her.

Only a few short weeks ago he had gotten her something, and now, there was no way she could accept it. Not with where they were headed.
No, he'd just keep the ring as his token on a chain around her neck.
Maybe if she won, she'd be able to keep it.

Heey!!! Little announcement, the character Fayora completely belongs to I_am_Ironman3000 they were kind enough to let me use her! (Follow them!!!!)
