*Izzy gets on the plane heading back to Germany.. Matt shops ofor the girls and Will, Mason and Noah.. and Caleb struggles to breathe as he finally catches his breath with the face mask Carson and Annie walks in.. Annie stands at the tip of his bed looking at his face mask then looks at Sydney*
Annie- What happen? Is he okay?

Sydney- Ya thank God.. Just a nurse came in here and put his oxygen down to one. He was on three or four.. and she knocked him all the way down to one.. not even five minutes later he was grabbing my hand as he gasp for air.. He scared the shit outta me.. and I knew he was scared when he told me to make Hayley leave the room.. *looks at Caleb and smiles* but he's doing better now, breathing good.

Annie- Oh my.. I bet that scared him.. All that matter is he's doing better.. *she goes sits down next to Carson*

Sydney- Yep..

Caleb- Maryland?

Sydney- What about Maryland baby?

Caleb- We in Maryland? I go home?

Sydney- No no we're in Germany.. Remember you was in that plane crash.. we can't go home til your better.. *she starts to hit his nurse call button*

Caleb- I go home now.. *he starts to lift himself up but falls back as he's too weak to sit up; he holds his hand out to Carson for help*

Carson- *walks over to his bedside* Brotha, you can't leave til the doctor let you.. and look your so weak you can't even sit up.. Just lay back and rest okay...

Caleb- *nods*

Sydney- Just close your eyes and sleep baby.. take a 15 minute nap

Caleb- *nods and closes his eyes, he then opens them and looks at Sydney* Home?

Sydney- that was 5 seconds not 15 baby..
just rest.

*A nurse comes in, asking if everything okay*

Sydney- He's in a confused state why ? He was doing so good til that one nurse came in here and knocked his oxygen down..

Nurse- Oh no.. What did his last nurse do to make him like this.. ?

Sydney- They knocked his oxygen down and he was without it for almost 10 minutes.. can that make him go into the confused state?

Nurse- Sometimes Yes.. the brain can only survive up to 6 minutes with lack of oxygen before it starts to die.. But on rare conditions someone can survive lack of oxygen for quite awhile without brain injuries.. 10 minutes usually doesn't harm the brain though. *she logs onto the computer and looks at his medicine* Usually patients that was on the ventilator is on a anxiety medication that can cause confusion.

Sydney- so his brain is dying.. ? *she wipes her eyes before she cries* and if your brain dead you're basically dead..

Nurse- We won't know if he's brain dead yet.. We just have to keep an eye on him but it may just be his anxiety medication. We'll pause giving him the anxiety medication for now just to see if his confusion clears up and if not we will do a
apnoea test and some other tests with the brain stem reflexes.. *she logs off the computer and walks over to Caleb's bedside* hi Caleb, I'm Lola your nurse for this evening.. Can you tell me your birthday..?

Caleb- June... 23rd

Nurse- *checks his wristband* Are you sure Caleb..?

Sydney- Baby, thats our babygirl birthday..
