Chap. 2 - Erwin and Levi

A fifteen year old Levi was walking down the crowded and noisy hallways of Shinganshina High. He surveyed his feet, trying not to lock eyes with anyone. He hurried to his class, gripping his textbooks close to his chest. Climbing the stairs two by two, he whispered to himself... "Only fifty days left..." As he reached the landing, he closed his eyes, smiling slightly. "Only fifty."

In fifty days, it would be summer, and Levi couldn't wait to get out of this filthy school. He has had just about enough of the scowls and the pressure, and was about to break. He grumbled to himself, recalling that his first class was math... His least favourite subject. As he took a step foreward, he heard a loud and rough voice resonate behind him. "Oh, shit," Levi exclaimed, picking up his pace.

A tall, muscular senior was also making his way up the stairs; right behind Levi, to be exact. He laughed with his two croonies at nothing in particular, that is, until the punchline to his next joke just revealed itself. "Oh, look," the blonde pointed directly in front of him. "It's the little midget," he added loudly, smirking widely.

Levi's heart dropped into his stomach. Stopping in his tracks,  he cleared his throat and peered over his shoulder, as the sight of a brawny, sunny haired boy came into view. "Not now, Erwin. I'm not in the mood for your shit today." Levi said, scowling.

Erwin laughed, as if what Levi had just said was a joke. "What do you mean?" he mocked, placing his hands on his hips. "I honestly don't care what mood you're in, you little loser. You're still going to get it," he said, grimacing. Levi seemed to be literally half Erwin's height, and he felt so powerless. Levi could feel his face getting hot, and he balled his hands into fists.

Erwin had brewed up a crowd behind them, all trying to get up the stairs. "Hey!" one of them yelled, angry.  "You little runt! You're blocking the way!!"

"Oh, I'm so very sorry," Erwin said sarcastically, as he kicked Levi in the gut.

Levi tumbled down the stairs, and his body finally came to a stop at a student's feet. Laughter from the others intoxicated the air around him. He could hear Erwin's voice from the top of the stairs, chuckling. Levi's books spread accross the landing, and a couple students even stepped on them.

As Levi's face smacked the ground with a thud, he could feel the coolness of the tiled floors kiss his cheek. He frowned as all the students around him ignored the fact that he had just fallen a flight of stairs. Levi slowly hauled himself off the ground, wiping the filth off his shirt and pants. "Could this school be any dirtyer?" he said in disgust, watching everyone swarm around him.

He got to his feet, picking up his books, when suddenly a shrill sound resonated in the air. It was the morning school bell. "Well, that's amazing," Levi exclaimed out loud. "I'm late. Again.

~AN~

Hi there! After, like, a month of stalling, I've finally come around to typing chapter 2. I know it's super short, but to compensate I'll be updating sometime within the next few days. I actually almost gave up on this fic, but I decided to continue anyways because I've got some really funny ideas for upcoming chapters.

I'm really new to wattpad, so I didn't really know how things worked when I put up chapter 1, but I'm super stoked I got some reads and comments anyways. Thanks!!!

I'd also like to add that I don't want this fic to be depressing... I actually want it to somewhat funny. I know this chapter isn't really fun, but whatever. c:
