Swim meet
September 11th... a great day over all it would seem. Sort of... not exactly. Stressful, nerve-racking and at the same time exciting, yes, those are the words I would use to describe that day, well those and the word frustrating. Why? Because this was the day of my very first swim meet where I would be doing the events of: 200 medley relay, 100 free, 100 breast stroke, 400 relay. (I don't expect everyone to understand how swim meets work or the events and what they are) but it was my very first swim meet ever. It was a big deal to me because I love swimming and all that. So since this was my first swim meet I decide hey, why not invite Levi cause he's my friend and all so why not so I send him a text and he ignores it. I get kind of hurt cause I thought he was a good friend and would support me but no... he left me on read for the second time and I had had enough of his crap that I was just done. At that moment I decided I would stop trying to be his friend cause he wasn't trying to be my friend, he wouldn't talk to me in person, he wouldn't help me when I needed help and he would ignore me. That's not a good friendship and I don't want friendships like that cause I don't even count that as a friendship because any kind of relationship works two ways, you can't be the only one or else it doesn't work. So yeah, I was bummed out a bit but the swim meet came and went, I did good in my events and I had a lot of fun.
