He didn't like it one bit. Just sitting there, with nothing to do. Cass was sleeping and Baymax was charging. Hiro sat at his desk, thinking. He wasn't the type who could just sit peacefully. He always needed something to do, something to keep him busy.
He hummed to himself and wondered if any of his friends would be up to hanging out.
"Honey Lemon and Wasabi are probably working," he mumbled to himself. "Gogo is out of town, and Fred... Yeah."
He ran his hand through his fluffy hair and sighed. "Doesn't the theme park open today?"
The boy stood up and yawned. "I should probably leave a note for Aunt Cass," he thought. Grabbing a piece of paper and a pen, he leaned over his desk to write out his message.
Hiro grabbed the freshly written note and straightened up his jacket. Setting the paper on the counter, he felt a wave of excitement flood his body. This would be the first time he would be out and about unaccompanied.
He grabbed a 5 dollar bill, because he knew he would need to buy a ticket.
Hiro headed out the door and breathed in the fresh air.
The weather seemed to be in his favor that day. The sun smiled brightly on the city, drenching it in a blanket of warmth.
He rubbed his eyes and started towards his destination.
The boy passed by many familiar buildings and houses, and by a couple of new ones. The city was always adding new lots, to keep it more lively. But in Hiro's opinion, it just made it more cramped.
He pulled his phone out of his pocket, to make sure he was going the right way. As he was scrolling through the map carelessly, he felt himself crash into something. He fell to the ground, right on his rear end.
"Oh my goodness, I'm so so sorry! That was my fault, I'm so sorry," said a voice. Hiro opened his eyes to find himself sitting in front of a delicate girl. "Are you alright?"
He nodded. "Y-Yeah, thanks for asking," the boy grinned, chuckling slightly. "I guess I should be asking you the same question."
The girl's face turned beet red. "Um, yeah! Yeah, I'm alright. I'm sorry, that was my fault," she stammered.
Hiro slowly stood up and rubbed the back of his neck. He lowered his hand out in front of the girl, and she grabbed it reluctantly.
"I-I should get going. Once again, I'm sorry!" She said, standing up.
"Hey, don't worry about it," he smiled, dusting off his pants. "I'll see you later," he said, more of a question than a statement.
She nodded. "Um.. Bye, I guess. Jeez I am so bad at talking to people," she mumbled the last part, but it was loud enough for the boy to hear.
"Don't worry about it. See ya," he finished the conversation and headed towards the park.
