I finish the last piece of colouring on my drawing.
Perfect! It's done.
My phone beeps next to me. It must be Luni. (Or Lucas cuz that's his real name xD)
He asked me if I'm done with the set of drawings I've worked on for the next update of gacha life. He is going to add in new NPCs, and I was thrilled to be chosen once again to draw their designs.
— the next day —
"Hey, Senpai. Do you mind waiting here a few minutes for me? I have to err...use the restroom if you don't mind." Said Luni, giggling.
"Err. Sure. I'll just setup my drawing tablet and transfer the drawings to your pc if that's ok." I said, slightly giggling back.
He nodded then walked off.
Geez, I wonder what he drank today. He keeps using the restroom.
- 5 minutes later -
I've transferred all of my drawings yet Luni still hasn't came back. I wonder if he got trapped in the bathroom or something. It would be embarrassing to check but oh well.
From the corner of my eye, I notice that Gacha Life is open on Luni's pc. It must be the development version of the game where he adds things into the game but they aren't public yet.
My hands manage to run away from me and instantly open the development version of gacha life.
Gosh. What is wrong with me?
If Luni found out that I was snooping around his secret development progress he would get upset. Or even mad.
I go into life mode, but then gasp when I realise that my NPC isn't there. Did Luni...remove me...from the game...?
I checked every possible location.
I was nowhere to be seen.
And Luni still isn't back-
Before I could finish my sentence, I was enveloped in a bright light. Everything flashes past me then I slowly fade into darkness...
What is going on?
- a few moments later -
My eyes are struggling to open, but I manage to regain my consciousness.
I look around.
And then I scream.
Everything is 2D.
And worst of all...when I screamed, no sound came out. Instead, a chat bubble was next to me saying "AHHHHHHHH".
It was the same type of chat bubble the NPCs have in gacha life, with the talk, ask, gift and quiz options.
It took a few minutes for my brain to figure out what was going on.
I'm in the game Gacha Life itself.
