Into The Darkness

Chapter 2

Josh walks away from bosses office slowly hoping boss would say something to him, but boss just sits there looking at him. Josh walks to his cubicle and sits down and stares at his computer and checks his email. His computer reads *3 new messages*. He reads them, they are from his girlfriend, Natalie. They read,

From Natalie:

Hey just wanted to know what you are doing today.

Sent from my iPhone

From Natalie:

Wondering if you wanted to catch some lunch?

Sent from my iPhone

From Natalie:

Waiting for you in your office. See you soon! <3

"What, then why isn't she here?" Josh wonders why Natalie didn't show up, but she sent him a message saying that she was in his office. "Maybe she is just in the restroom." He thought. He looks at the time the message was sent. It reads,

2:30

It's 3:30 now. She wouldn't be in the bathroom for 1 hour, would she? No, there is no way she could be in the bathroom for an hour. As he turns around in his chair thinking, then notices her purse on his desk. "What?" Josh says. "That's strange?" He thinks to himself. Josh gets out of his chair and starts searching the building for her.
