Oh-he oh-ho a monster! A monster is here
But where -oh- where?
Surely not under the bed - nor in the closet
Nor is it in the curtains or in the stove
The fridge is a no-no
In the woods?
Most surely not, for the monster hates the dark
Dark you say?
Then shall the monster be on the moon? The sun?
No, oh no the moon is quiet and cold
Where hence the sun is bright and hot
Then where shall the monster be?
The house is small yet our grounds are vast but no monster shall be seen
A closer look! A closer look! Thee monster's near
A falsehood?
I have no sight of a monster!
Such beast doesn't exist!
Such foul words that come from the beast itself
