-Wedding day-

Gabriella POV

As Becca finished my make up and Angela helped me into my dress, I started being very nervous.

All my life, Ive never thought I would find someone or get married. This was all surreal.

Angela: You are so beautiful Ella!

I wore an off shoulder princess styled dress. Ive always loved the dress ever since I saw Belle wore it in Beauty and the Beast.

"Thank you Angie."

Angela: Your mother would say the same thing and she would be so proud of you.

I teared up and hugged her.

Becca: Oh no! You are going to ruin my 2 hours effort!

We laughed at her.

Becca: Ready? Lets go get your man.

We are having the ceremony and reception at a hotel. We walked out of the bridal suite and towards the ceremony hall.

Gary: You look stunning sis.

He gave me a kiss on my cheek.

"Thanks Gary."

George: If only your mother was here to see you.

"Oh daddy!"

I hugged him trying hard not to ruin my makeup.

Gary: Are you ready?

I nodded and smiled

Both Gary and my father are walking me down the aisle. Gary pushed my father's wheelchair while I held my fathers hands.

There I saw him, waiting for me, beside John, his best man.

He looked so handsome in his navy blue suit. I cant believe Im marrying this man. He smiled at me as I walked down.

We said our vows after Zach lifted by veil:

I, Zachary Randall Connor, take you, Gabriella Maria Sanders, to be my lawful wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.

I Gabriella Maria Sanders , take you, Zachary Randall Connor, to be my lawful wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.

I pronounced you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.

He held my face and waist as he pull me in for the kiss. The crowd erupted with cheers and applause.

The reception was a blast. Zach's mother and his relatives with most of mine were there. We invited a few of the courier company's staff and Zach's colleagues both from the agency and the Feds. Even Josh Gabber and his wife was there. Not Stacy.

My father took the microphone with Angela's help to make a toast.

George: I would like to thank all for coming to the wedding of my daughter Gabriella and my new son in law Zach. I have a special surprise for my daughter and son which Ive kept over the years and I would like to share it with everyone.

A video was played on the screen.

It was my mother.

Mum: George! What are you doing?

Dad: I wanted to film something for Ella and Gary.

Mum: Oh George! You and your camera.

She smiled at my father and the camera.

At this moment of the wedding, Gary came beside me to hold my hand.

My father set the camera down and he came into view.

Dad: Hi Ella and Gary. We decide to film this as memory keepsake to let you know we love you always. At this moment, Ella you are in college about the start your second year. And Gary, you are not home! You better not be causing any problems outside.

Mum: Ella, you have grown up beautifully. Although I see sadness in your eyes, you always appear strong and happy for us. We hope that you will find your happiness and trust that life is a journey not a destination. What we experience everyday made the journey colouful and we grow stronger from it.

Mum: Gary sweetie. You gave always been a little rascal. But you are also sweet and kind. Any girl would be lucky to have you just dont hurt her or get her pregnant while you are in school!

Dad: Im warning you Gary!

They both smiled.

Mum: Gary, I know your sister is older than you but please protect her and look out for her as how she had been with you all these years. When we are gone, you only have each other. Love and treasure one another. As how we love you.

Mum: We love you very much. And wish you all the happiness in the world.

They both waved at the camera before it blacked out.

Both Gary and myself were now hugging each other sobbing.

There were no dry tears in the hall.

George: She would want you to know that. We both love you very much.

Both of us went to hug him and the rest of the guests started clapping.

Gary pulled me in for a dance in replacement of the father daughter dance. I placed my head on his chest since he was a head taller than me and hugging him close. I knew my makeup was ruined and I was also ruining his suit but I didnt care. We needed this.

Zach popped in soon after while Gary took Becca to the dance floor.

Zach: Are you ok?

"Im just very happy. Thank you Zach for being the one true happiness for me."

He kissed me as we swayed to the song.

Happiness may not come to you at the moment but when it does, you will feel an immense gratitude and appreciate the feeling much more.
