If I can't say it,

If my mouth trembles as I murmur it,

If my lips quiver as I whisper them,

If my jaw creaks as I scream them,

I hope you know,

I truly do.

If I can't laugh it out,

If I can't cry them lose,

If my hand won't let me write them down,

If my eyes evert every time I want you to see them,

I hope you know,

I truly do.

The sun will rise and set,

And the seasons will change.

I still won't be able to say it,

Even If I wanted to.

So wonderful dear,

I say to you,

Oh beautiful soul,

I would die,

I would kill,

All so that I might be able to say,

Even whisper to you,

I truly do...
