The magic games

The Parade

We stepped in the huge building in front of us. When we enter they sent us to put on our magic games outfits. Once we finished they sent us one by one to train. I was last. When I walked out one man said "please will you show what you will possibly will be doing in the hunger games." I sigh and go straight for the bows and arrows. I grab them and, get ready to aim. I here them speaking behind me and, I act as if I'm clearing my throat and go "eh im!" Then they turn to look at me. Then I aim and pull back the string. When I loosen the arrow it suddenly catches on fire. I know that it will do that because, my power is fire in this group of games and, will always have the powers. When I hear it cling to the board I curtsy in sarcasm. Then I walk out. Then they lead us to a penthouse. It was bigger than a penthouse though. We go to our rooms. Once I find my room we all go to our mentor for a short time when a speaker announces "everyone who is in the games please come to the ready center to get ready for the parade!" we all stare at each other including Nut who usually would not be afraid. Effie and our mentor who's name was lenna. We met our designer. He circle around us and then stopped in front of me and said "I have an idea for you honey you look fiery." I replied "thanks?" Then he walks around everyone else. Then Lenna said "go wash off at the center." We walk over to the center and, get separate people to clean,wax and help with our makeup. Once they do all of that we go to carman our designer. By then he had made all of the costumes. He showed me to my dressing room and handed me a dress. I held it out in front of me. It was red and black. The red seemed to climb up the dress like fire. Then I spun around to see the back then sparks flew off the arms of the dress and the bottom. I was so shocked I slipped it on and walked out side. I saw Mary had a dress that was blue. It had a cape fall off the bake with snow flakes on it. The cape was white. I looked over to nut he wore a shirt with well it almost looked like wood chipping off the sides. His pants were mossy looking and had wood looking fabric on it. James came out with a blue shirt and blue pants, but it had blue electronic things zooming in and out of the shirt. Blade came out with a purple shirt and pants on. It had spiraling purple swirls going up and down his body. Then Blake. Oh Blake, he had no power but he was going to get one. He had a pitch black suit on it seemed as if it were calling for you to die. Then Carman said "follow me to the carriages with no roof." Horses pulled them. My hole team got one with a green paint on it and golden bars were shaped in spirals. We got into the carriage and, our horse launched off at a trot down the long way. Where people lined in the bleachers and cheered. People were announcing how divine everyone looked. When they saw us the gasped and said "look at that group of people!" Then I began to wave and move from side to side to that sparks and sometimes tiny flames would fly off the dress. Then they said " look at her the girl with the sparks on her dress." Once we reached the end we all grabbed hands and raised them in the air and then the people said " that is amazing! There not only a team but, a supportive team!" then the president said "I have seen some great personality in these costumes but, you will not need to be looking pretty in these games these games are about skill!" We all looked at each other and shook our heads yes.
