Surprise !

Mother's day is just around the corner and Chaeyoung wanted to surprise her mums by making them breakfast. Chaeyoung may have been a little older now, but she's still not allowed to enter the kitchen by herself yet, therefore, she has seek help from her favourite aunts, Jihyo and Mina.

Its early on a Sunday morning and Chaeyoung slowly creeped out of her room, as quietly as possible so that her mommies wouldn't notice and making sure she's safe and out of hearing range, she dashed down the stairs excitedly and ran to the front door where Jihyo and Mina is already waiting. She stood on tiptoes to reach the door knob and slowly opened the door with her little hands revealing her aunts who's already waiting for her. She jumped into Mina's embrace and was returned with kisses on her cheeks from both the elder ladies. Mina set her down and Chaeyoung immediately turned to take Jihyo's hand, pulling her towards the kitchen with excited steps. The two lovers could only look at the child fondly from the back while they followed along.

Chaeyoung excitedly climed onto the chair at the kitchen aisle and waited for Jihyo and Mina to put away their things before taking out the ingredients from the refrigerator. Her short legs kicking excitedly from where she was seated as she watch all the ingredients being laid out infront of her. They were going to make some pancakes as its the easiest and Chaeyoung could help.

They started with making the batter and Chaeyoung volunteered to beat mix the batter. She looked so focused on her tasked that her tongue started sticking out at the corner of her lips and her brows furrowed from too much concentration. The scene was too cute that Mina couldn't resist the urge to take a picture. She made a mental note to send it to the couple later on.

Chaeyoung looked up from the task at hand when Jihyo told her that the batter was already mixed evenly having her pass it over before Jihyo started heating up the pan to start frying some pancakes. Mina lifted the curious and excited child and brought her over so that she could observe what Jihyo was doing.

They were done in the next 20 minutes and its time for Chaeyoung to wake her mommies up. She ran up the stairs and headed straight to the master bedroom where her mums were still sleeping. Slowly and quietly she psushed open the door and walked over to her mums bedside. She smiled when she saw her mum hugging her mama from behind and then proceed to climb onto the bed with her mums. She wriggled herself into Nayeon's arms and that movement made Nayeon's eyes flutter open. A smile tugged on her lips when she saw her daughter looking up at her with a big smile showing both her dimples.

Giving her a kiss on the forehead, she greeted "Good morning baby. Why are you up so early ?". The child only let out a giggle before saying "Good morning mama!"

With the excited voice of her daughter, Jeongyeon finally woke up. Seeing that, Chaeyoung crawled over to her mum and smother her face with kisses asking for them to wake up. Jeongyeon sat up and return her daughter with some kisses on the cheeks before turning over to her wife and giving her a morning kiss. They both sat up on the bed and looked at their daughter who was oddly already up at this hour. She would normally sleep in on a weekend.

"Mum, quick! I have a surprise for you downstairs! Come quick!". With that said, she ran ahead of her mums to the dining room.

Nayeon and Jeongyeon followed suit and was stunned when they found what was waiting for them on the dining table. Breakfast was being served on the table. They turned to look at the child who was looking expectantly at them from where she was standing. The smile on her face getting bigger and bigger as the moment passed.

"How did you do all this baby ?" Nayeon asked as she picked up her daughter from where the kid was standing.

"Aunty Jihyo and aunty Mina came and helped me! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MOMMIES!" Chaeyoung said as she gave her mums each a kiss on the cheek.

"Your daughter came to us last night asking for help and we couldn't possibly say no to her." Jihyo said as she walked over from the living room.

"Thanks baby." Jeongyeon said and ruffled her daughter's short hair. "Thanks guys. For helping her out." "No worries! Besides, we enjoyed helping her. Right Chaengie ?" Jihyo asked, to which the child only nodded.

"Okay. We'll get going now. Since our job here is done and we dont want to interrupt your family day." Mina said as they walked towards the door. Jeongyeon was about to follow but was interrupted by Jihyo. "Dont bother. We can show our way out. Just enjoy the moment." and with that, the couple walked out of the house and closed the door behind them leaving the family of three alone.

"Did you like the surprise mama ?" Chaeyoung asked excitedly.

"Of course i did baby. It was prepared by you, of course i like it." Nayeon answered and left a kiss on the child's forehead. Jeongyeon walked over to them and took the both of them into a hug. Leaving a kiss on both their forehead.

"Happy Mother's Day my big baby." Jeongyeon said softly turned to face her wife. "You too babe. Happy Mother's Day." Nayeon smiled and gave a peck on her wife's lips.

"I love you mum! I love you mama!" Chaeyoung said, interrupting her mums which earned her a kiss on both side of the cheek from them. She giggled before enveloping her mums in a hug.

They finally settled down and had their breakfast and the smile on Chaeyoung's face never leaving her after that as her surprise was a very successful one.
