Gradam: The Broken Chain

Part 2

Later after school when Adam came home, he saw his sister Alyssa and her best friend Hailey, who babysat his friend Alex sometimes, both in the kitchen. Adam could tell from their furious pounds and screams that he should stay low until they cooled down. After a few hours past and he finished his homework, Adam thought they would be calm enough for him to ask what happened.
"What happened with you guys?" Adam asked as he proceeded to pour a glass of orange juice.
"Nothing much" said Hailey.
"just the fact that this dumbass freshman destroyed our hopes of being school president and vice." Said Alyssa with a hint of frustration in her voice.
"What'd they do?"
Alyssa and Hailey we're both Juniors and crazy nerds who set their hearts on these things.
"They destroyed our posters we left in the locker room, when we came back to put them up, we saw someone ripping them to shreds" Said Alyssa
"Did you see who it was?"
"No, they were wearing a blue hoodie though"
Adams heart skipped.
"Are you sure it wasn't like a sophomore or something?"
Hailey looked like she was getting annoyed.
"No, it was a freshman because no other year had PE in that period."
Oh no, Adam thought, if it was Gracie they'll kill her.
"The worst part is the principal, isn't exactly on our side here. He says he doesn't have the time to investigate, and so we maybe kinda got a touch aggressive with our wordings and now he eliminated us from the election." Said Alyssa
"I'm literally gonna kill the freshman when we find out who eliminated us." Said Hailey
Adam just looked down and walked away.
Why would Gracie do something like that? He thought, she would never, Adam shook it off knowing that that was just too unrealistic. Gracie sabotaging his sisters campaign? She wasn't even running. It just didn't make sense...
