Yuki placed the bags of food next to my computer and walked out of the room. After a couple of minutes, I saw that he brought in one of his rolling chairs from his room, which is the room to the right of my room; he placed his chair next to mine and pulled out the food from the bags. He sat next to me after opening all the containers; he placed the food on the left side of my computer keyboard.
"How do you think we should proceed," Yuki asked me before taking a bite of his burger.
"I don't know," I replied.
"Do any of the victims have anything in common, other than coding and hacking," Yuki asked me.
"Let me cross reference their names," I stated while typing on my computer. I hacked the Behavioral Analysis Unit Database and cross referenced the names of every victim; there was nothing in common between all the victims.
"Well, that theory turned to dust quickly," I stated with relieving a heavy sigh.
"If there anyone that was investigating the case that could be a suspect," Yuki asked.
"Let me check," I stated while typing on my computer. I hacked into police files within a couple seconds and found the files of the members of the police that were involved with the case that were included in the investigation file.
There were five members of the behavioral analysis unit that were involved, as well as three members of the police. The members of the behavioral analysis were Lucas Grayson, Aaron Drake, Scarlet Cheung, Aria Walker, and Elijah Powell. The police officers involved in the investigation were Oliver Davies, Jacob Morgan, and Sofia Huang.
All the behavioral analysis unit members and police officers have nothing suspicious about their past; they had perfect grades and volunteered in their community through organizations such as their local food banks. I also looked into their lives with their families; all of them had a good relationship with their parents, siblings, spouses, nephews, nieces, and cousins. None of the behavioral analysis unit members have associated with the victims or their families before investigating the incident.
"There's nothing suspicious about the investigators," I stated to Yuki.
"Considering that this kept occurring over fifty years, there is a possibility of there being more than one unknown subject," Yuki stated with a serious expression on his face. I nodded and took some curly fries to eat from one of the containers.
"All the victims were students here, and including the fact that students only attend this school for four years, we could assume that it isn't a student," I stated, "It also must be someone athletic since some of the victims have an athletic body."
"The unknown subject must be around the age of the victims to target them and subdue them," Yuki stated before eating some curly fries.
"But there isn't any blood or sign of a struggle though," I stated, "So, it could be someone they know, or they were poisoned."
"That would be likely possibility," Yuki stated while taking another bite of his burger.
"The unknown subject must also know the layout of the school and either know where the victim's dorm is and their rank due to being associated with this school, or targeted the victim after following them and discovering their rank," Yuki stated with a serious expression on his face.
"This all points to the likelihood of a faculty member or someone funding the school being responsible," I stated.
"There would be no motive though," I said to Yuki with a serious expression on my face.
"They are hackers, so, they can be used to make a profit," Yuki stated.
"They have teachers that are supposedly experts," I stated bluntly.
"Good point," Yuki replied.
"Then again, why would they make a school like this," I said with skepticism. A long pause occurred before I looked at the time on the bottom right of my computer; it's nine o'clock at night.
"Don't you need to go to you're dorm for curfew," I asked Yuki.
"Can I hang out here with you instead," Yuki pouted with puppy dog eyes.
"You know the drill then," I stated while looking back at the computer screen. Yuki smiled, got up from his chair, and walked out of the room while closing the door behind him. While he got stuff from his room, I hacked the school's security cameras without leaving any indication or evidence that I hacked the cameras for the faculty. Fifteen minutes later, he walked into the room, closing the door behind him, with a sleeping bag and a pillow. He laid the sleeping bag and pillow on the floor next to my bed before sitting back on his chair.
"So, what is our plan of action," Yuki asked me with a serious expression on his face.
"We should get ready for bed first," I stated before taking the last bite of my burger.
"Already did," Yuki stated with a smirk. I rolled my eyes at him turned to the mess on my desk.
I took all the containers and placed it back in the paper bags. I then got up from my seat and took the paper bags off my desk with my left hand. I then walked to my dresser and got a plastic bag that had my toothbrush and toothpaste from one of the drawers. I held the paper and plastic bag in my left hand as I walked out of the room, leaving my door open, and walked across the hall to the bathroom.
I opened the mahogany door to the bathroom and turned on the lights before closing the door behind me. There was a white porcelain bathtub on the right side of the bathroom; a toilet with toilet paper on its right side is on the left side of the bathroom. There is a white porcelain sink with gold-colored knobs connected to the back of the room. There was a trash can underneath the sink, which is where I threw away the paper bags. I then opened the plastic bag to get my toothbrush and toothpaste while relieving a heavy sigh. I then brushed my teeth, turning on the tap and cupping my hands to collect the water to rise my mouth, and washed my face by collecting water using both my hands and splashing it on my face. I turned off the water and walked out of the bathroom, closing the door behind me, and back into my room. Once I walked into the room, a white towel was thrown into my face.
"You forgot a towel," Yuki stated while smiling.
"Thanks," I mumbled while taking the towel off my face.
"So, are you going to tell me our plan of action," Yuki asked me with a serious expression on his face.
"Let's just say, it's risky," I stated with a serious expression on my face.
"What is the plan exactly," he asked me with a curious expression on his face.
"We are going to let the unknown subject kidnap another student," I stated.
"That is risky," Yuki replied with a serious expression on his face. I just hope that the risk is worth it.
