Dabis POV
After half an hour of Izuku writing his report, we finally got to leave. We hopped in the car quietly and headed home.
"So you have plans for tonight?" I asked trying to break the silence.
"Not really, I kinda just said that to get Uraraka to go away, she's got this thing for me and no matter how many times I tell her no she keeps coming back." he groaned in annoyance.
"So you don't like her like that? Cause you two seemed to be close," I said bitterly, Izuku laughed.
"God no, I mean yeah we're good friends, have been since high school, but she's not really my type," he explained, this intrigued me.
"So if super hot hero girl isn't your type then what is?" I asked mockingly, he laughed at that.
"What?" I asked as he continued to laugh harder.
"I much prefer super hot bad boys," he responded slightly flushed, I somehow managed to choke on air but I don't think he noticed... Oh god, he totally noticed.
I looked out my window feeling conscious about how warm my face felt, I heard Izuku snicker and we continued our drive home in silence.
As soon as the car stopped I hopped out and retreated up to my room to think.
There's no way he thinks of me like that, he was just making a joke, that's it, he was just trying to be funny. He doesn't like me like that, and I don't like him like that, I'm just a normal, straight, guy who just happens to be living with an extremely attractive guy- who I do not have feelings for!
"Dabi! Dinners ready!" I heard Izuku yell from the kitchen. I walked to the kitchen trying to ignore my beating heart, I go to grab my food but izuku stops me.
"Hey, are you ok? You seem a bit out of it," he asked looking concerned, I nodded and assured him I was fine before continuing to grab my plate.
We ate quietly and once done we went into our rooms to get some sleep, that had been an hour ago and I was still wide awake.
I wanted to go to Izuku's room to see if he could help but I was sure he was asleep by now and I didn't want to wake him over something so stupid.
I sighed and left my room gunning for the porch that izuku has, hoping for some fresh air. I stepped outside and watched the sky for a while until I heard someone getting closer.
I looked around and noticed a couple of heroes doing their nightly patrol, I tensed up and watched them cautiously. One of the heroes looked at me and froze, they tried to get their partner's attention without looking away from me but they weren't able to.
When the hero looked away to get their partner I ran back into the house and jogged to Izuku's room.
I hesitated before knocking quickly, anxiety filling me as I thought of everything that could have just happened.
Izuku muttered a quiet "come in," and I shakily opened the door, I silently cursed at my shaking hands for making me seem weak.
Izuku looked up from the book he was reading, he smiled for a moment before his expression turned to one of panic. He stood and hastily made his way over to me.
"What happened, are you alright?" he asked as he took one of my shaking hand into his own trying to calm me down, my eyes started to water but I refused to cry.
"I think I did a bad thing," I said quietly as I burst into tears. Izuku quickly wrapped me into a hug and whispered soothing things to me, trying to calm me down.
