Reyna struggled to stay awake. Yesterday had been hectic. Reyna made a note to never spend the night at Nico's. He would only rope her into playing video games till 6AM. She would have survived this class if it wasn't for the stupid teacher who didn't know the basics of what she is teaching. As an aspiring teacher, Reyna wanted to strangle this woman. Not an once of organisation, interest or charm in her. This woman didn't have the power to reach out to the students. This skill was vital when the class is full of sleep deprived, coffee driven teenagers.

Reyna's eyes fell upon the girl in the 2nd row. She had her head down, on table, sleeping it seemed. Suddenly, Piper woke up. She looked around and went back to sleep. Or it seemed. Because, moments later, almost as if she could feel Reyna's gaze, she opened those beautiful eyes to look at Reyna. She had caught Reyna looking at her. Schist. But then, Reyna back tracked because Piper smiled. Reyna could feel her heart hammering away, a blush forming. Somehow, she managed to smile back.

Piper seemed to be satisfied and rested her head on the table again. Reyna let out the breath she was holding. The class went on, the teacher blabbered on schist. But, Reyna was wide awake now.

Her mind drifted to Piper, her blinding smile, her charming accent, her grace, the way she walked. Everything about Piper was enticing. Reyna couldn't help but, admire. Piper wasn't a stranger, she's Percy's friend but, she wasn't close either. They had hit it off pretty well at Percy's party. Reyna had become friends with her and Annabeth after that.

For a demi-romantic bisexual like Reyna, crushes didn't happen often. But, the more she finds out about this mystery that is Piper Mclean, the she likes the other girl. Reyna had fallen enough times to know that she was on the road to another crush. A serious one, this time.
