Chapter 3: Uzukage and The Uzumaki

Watching Akane bow you did the same. "It is not important for you to bow, please both of you, come in" he said. You all walked in, Akane closing the door behind you both and went to sit down on two chairs parallel to the Uzukage on his desk.

"I am Nagato Uzumaki and I am the Uzukage, what's your name young lady?" He said smiling at you. "My name is (Y/N) Uzumaki, sir" you said shyly and quietly. "Well (Y/N), I am glad you made it safely and that no one injured you" he said. But as he said that tears started streaming down your face. Making Akane look at you in sympathetically.

"Lord Nagato, I am afraid that (Y/N) lost her father, I sealed his corpse in one of my scrolls, I wanted her and us to hold a funeral for him here" she said. "Yes of course, tell the clan, we will hold it tomorrow". "Yes sir!" Akane said before getting up and saying "I'll see you soon, okay?" she said ruffling your hair and making you nod in response.

She then left after that, leaving you with the Uzukage. "Alright, you probably have many questions, especially regarding the fact that the Uzumaki clan is still alive" he said and you could only nod wiping the tears away from your eyes. "Well I will tell you how the Uzumaki are still alive and how your new life in Uzushiogakure will be like and what our goal is as a clan and village. " he said.

"Our village was attacked and 'massacred'  years ago, that's what everyone thinks and knows, except for us. We were feared because of our sealing jutsu, and also wanted for our bloodline.", "Our bloodline?" You asked. "Yes, you see, because of our strong bodies and large chakra reserves, we are able to promote the bloodlines of other clans and there by strengthening their clan jutsu, creating prodigious offsprings for their clans, upgrading Kekkei Genkai, Kekkei tota and Hidan/secret jutsu."

"I see...", "Yes and other villages saw us as a threat, so they banded together and attacked our village, killing our clansman, but what they didn't know was that some of us escaped that fate." he said sighing.

"While some Uzumaki ran in order to protect their children, the previous leader, the head of the Uzumaki clan had a plan for the Uzumaki that were left, he sealed them in these cave walls, saving the last of the Uzumaki, before all of them were killed, saving the clan in the process. Years ago my parents were killed by leaf shinobi, when I was young and that is when I awakened the rinnegan" he said.

"The rinnegan?", "Yes,one of the three great ocular jutsu, but the most powerful of the three and I have it. My sensei taught me everything I know and I will pass my knowledge on to the next generation, on to you" he said.

"We were allies of the Senju because the are our brother clan and therefore we were allies of the leaf village, we provided them with jinchuriki and powerful sealing jutsu and in return they were supposed to give us protection and keep us out of the great ninja wars, but unfortunately they couldn't, not only that but there are few of them now,

according to my research there are only two Senju descendants and I am one of them, my mother was an Uzumaki, but my father was a Senju. Because of the turmoil that was experienced at the village we lived in, it was impossible for them to have a happy wedding and my father didn't have a problem with the name Uzumaki, so we all kept the name, plus I look more like an Uzumaki then a Senju." he said.

"Anyway, my master told me about this place and how to unseal the seal, I did exactly that and when I did the people of the clan saw me as their leader and so we agreed to me becoming the leader, to restore the clan and Uzushio and to develop our  skills to fight to protect each other and to no longer need protection, to no longer be in the centre of all wars" he said.

"Oh....but how are we going to do that?.....although as far as I can see the clan is pretty much restored." you said softly.

"Yes, I understand that, but there are still Uzumaki out there, like you and me, who are alone and need family, our goal is to take them away from the villages that claim them and protect them, the villages that they live in are using them and abusing them, either physically or emotionally and we also want to save them from that" he said.

"Oh, so in other words mission: Uzumaki retrieval or rescue?" you said. "Yes, that is the simplification of it" he said after chuckling. "I like the plan, to save all Uzumaki who are suffering, but I don't think I will be able to do that I am not that strong and don't know how to control my chakra" you said looking down.

"Yes, because of our high reserves of chakra we have a hard time learning to control it, but that is what Uzushiogakure's Academy is for" he said. "Academy?", "Yes, there you will learn sealing jutsu, ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu ,chakra control, healing jutsu, barrier jutsu, sensing jutsu and Juinjutsu. Some genjutsu and ninjutsu which was given to us by the leaf village." he said.

"Wow, that's amazing!" you said amazed. "Yes, the full curriculum is two to three years at most, it depends on your progress, when you graduate you will be given a teacher who will teach you more accurately and to perfect your jutsu,you will also be going on missions with your sensei and two others who will be learning with you, okay?" he said. "Yes, I understand, I can't wait...but"

"Your father's burial is tomorrow, today you will be moving in with an adult of the clan and you will receive clan clothes too, and will start your training in three days after the funeral, okay" he said. "Yes sir" you answered.

He then took out some papers and read them, sliding his finger down them as he was reading the list. "Aha.....there we go.....you will be staying with Izuki Uzumaki, she should be able to take care of you and guide you" he said smiling. "So I am not staying with miss Akane?" You asked. "I am afraid not, she is busy with other missions and tasked" he said.

"Now please follow me" he said standing up and earning a nod from you as you followed him towards the door leaving the office together.
