Chapter 4: Mia

"You are so beautiful," the man said. "Too bad I have to kill you. Don't take it personal, bosses orders." He smiled.

I looked up at the man, "Wow, didn't think that you would go for a 15 year old girl, but I guess pervert fits you nicely."

The man laughed and punched me in the face. Blood was filling my mouth. I looked up at him and spit my blood on his face. The man grabbed my face harshly and threw me to the ground. He started kicking and stomping on my stomach. I didn't scream.

"Enough!" A voice said. I heard his foot steps come closer and closer. I looked up at the man and gasped.

"Uncle Simon?" I asked in surprise.

"Surprise, my dear niece," he said smugly.

"Why?"

"Because you were in the way. I couldn't have that and what better way is it to kill you then have your brothers come find me and run into a trap. My gang will be on the top and nobody will stop me."

I looked at him in disgust, "You killed my parents."

"Indeed I had little one and now this is where we part until tomorrow." With that he turned and walked toward the door. "Tomorrow you can do anything to her then kill her," he told the man that beat me.

"This is gonna be fun." The man said.

I opened my eyes. I was in my bed with Robbie and Jace looking at me worriedly. I sighed and sat up.

"I'm okay," I told them.

They nodded and we got out of bed.

"Do you guys want to go to the diner for breakfast?" Jace asked as we walked downstairs.

Robbie and I nodded; we put on our shoes and headed to Jace's truck. We all piled in and Jace took off driving.

"Are you ready for your match tonight?" Robbie asked me.

"Yep," I replied. "That bastard spit in my face and I want to knock his front teeth in so he can learn his lesson."

Robbie and Jace chuckled at me. We pulled into the diner's parking lot and quickly got out. As we walked in people went quiet.

"Is it always like this?" Robbie asked.

"Yep," Jace replied.

We headed to the same booth Jace and I in sat in Monday night.

"Hello darlings," Pattie says as she stopped at our table. "Who may this be?" She asked pointing at Robbie.

"This is our little brother Robbie," Jace answered.

"Hi," Robbie says quietly.

I giggled quietly at him.

"Yeah he just came back from studying in England," Jace continued.

"Isn't that great," Pattie said. "Welcome to our town Robbie and if you ever need anything just ask. I'll be right back with some food," with that she walked nack to the kitchen.

"I didn't order anything though," Robbie said confusingly.

"She always does that and doesn't expect us to pay," I explained to him. "Just let her do her and don't tell her not to."

Robbie nodded as Pattie came back and set the food and driinks down for us and walked away. We ate and joked around. While we were finishing up a person walked up to the table. We looked up and it was one of the Snakes people. I think it is Walter, second best fighter.
