17. Gorgeous

"She's amazing. She's gorgeous." Jeremy said looking at you, a smile spread across his face.

"Jeremy, babe." You laughed. "You been saying that the past hour." You told him, cradling your new born baby in your arms, she was asleep and you were hesitant to put her down properly in her crib as the last time you did, about 20 minutes ago, she instantly woke up and cried.

"Well, it's true. She is, just like you." He kissed you before turning back to look at your daughter in your arms. "I'm flattered." You smiled.

"I just can't believe it." He told you. "How can someone this adorable be my daughter?" He looked at you. "Are you one hundred percent that she's mine?"

"Yes!" You laughed. "I'm pretty sure, if anything, I'm two hundred percent sure that she's sure." You and Jeremy had been together for four years but had been friends in the years before dating. Very quickly into the relationship, you both knew that you had found 'the one' and wanted to start planning a future together. For you, it had been certain that you wanted a baby, maybe even babies, with Jeremy and he felt the same, so when you discovered that you were pregnant, you were over the moon.

"She's gorgeous." He repeated, probably for the millionth time in the last hour. You laughed. "I'm doing it again, aren't I?" He asked and you replied with a "Yes." He gave a small shrug. "I can't help it. I want the world to know that she is mine and that both you and her are the best things that have ever happened to me and I love you both so much."

"I love you too." You kissed one another before Jeremy laughed and said;

"I guarantee though, I won't be happy when she begins dating. I don't want her to grow up. I want her to be this cute forever...."
