It was finally night time, Cheryl got her self a foot bath and was sitting in the recliner in their living room, Toni was doing the same. They played Toni's romcoms while joking around in face masks. Cheryl has bought about a thousand of face masks she wanted to try. They were having fun together and that's all that mattered. They haven't been having this fun for a lot of years now and it was fun catching up.

The night ended quickly and Toni went home. Cheryl went to bed feeling refreshed.

The next day, Cheryl got up early to prepare for her early Sunday hikes. She packed some water and food for herself, before she could leave she received a text from Toni
THMAPITW: Hey ru going on a hike.
FU: well, yes I am
THMPITW: can I join
FU: sure, come over by my house

Cheryl was surprised to say the least, because Toni got up this early and asked her if she could come to a HIKE. Cheryl has known Toni for years and this is quite strange.

Toni arrived a few minutes later. On her motorcycle, holding a cup, of what seems to be coffee.
"Hey" Cheryl greeted.
"Hi" Toni said right after sipping a from her coffee.
"Shall we?" Toni asked and Cheryl hopes on the motorcycle.

They drove to a hill, and Toni parked her motorcycle in a parking nearby. They started to walk and occasionally talk. Once they arrived on top, they sat by the edge of the hill.
"Just tell me, what do you want?" Cheryl asked straightforward
"What?"
"Cmon be honest you never hang out with me unless you want something"
"That's pretty straightforward"
"And true, so what is it? My car, the house?"
"I actually needed some advice"
"Ha I knew it- wait what, that's all you need?"
"Yeah well, I might have a crush- I like someone"
Cheryl's eyes go wide and starts giggling, but realized that Toni wasn't joking.

"Huh, the great Antoinette Topaz, doesn't know what to do, I like this"
"Shut up" She joked teasingly
"Anyways, who's the girl?" A little part of Cheryl wished it's her, but she knew that Toni doesn't fall for her friends.
"I ain't telling you" she teased
"Oh come on" Cheryl pouted
"Nope, I'm not telling you"

They headed home after finishing their picnic. Toni wanted to stay at Cheryl's for a while and so she did, Toni finally agreed to watch The Notebook for the first time, she didn't cry (just like what Cheryl expected) but Cheryl was bawling (even though she's probably seen it a hundred times) they did some baking and they had fun, once it was already late, Toni decided to go back home.

At midnight, someone was knocking loudly at the door, the first few knocks Cheryl had ignored. But, after hearing the knocks way to many times she decided to open it

Who in their right minds would come her at 3 in the morning

When she opened it she quickly changed moods, it was Toni beaten up.
"T-Toni"
"Are you gonna let me in or what?"
Toni went in and Cheryl gave her some ice packs.
"What happened?"
"Oh you know, I was out with the serpents for a mission, then suddenly some douche starts beating me up, luckily Sweet Pea and Fangs saved me before it got worse"
"Wow"
"Don't worry its not that bad I can handle this"
"Oh no, absolutely not, you are resting here"
"Got it boss" Toni did a salute. They both got to sleep, Cheryl offered Toni to stay on the guest room, but Toni refused and said she's fine with the couch. They both slept peacefully.

Once it was morning, Cheryl has already cooked breakfast for Toni.
"Morning, I smell pancakes" Toni said once waking up
"Oh yeah, I'm cooking, sit down"
Toni day down on a stool and got on her phone, and was texting someone. Cheryl tried to get a glimpse on who she was trying with, but Toni kept hiding it.
"Are you texting with your crush~" Cheryl teased knowing Toni will hate her for that.
"Ha, no, I'm texting with the serpents letting them know I'm fine"
"Ah, well why can't I see"
"Because they're teasing me, they know who my crush is"
"What, why can't I know?"
"You'll tease me"
Cheryl scoffs and serves the pancakes.
"Can you at least give me hints?"
"No" Toni says firmly, "I'm never telling you, so just give up"
Cheryl scoffs again
"Fine"
