I slip out of my room to the pool and sat at the bottom of it thinking of what my death would be like. Why I am in the air, what was that tank and what was that beam that came out of it? Why didn’t I doge it? Then a plop rippled in the water, a rock sank in front of me; engraved in it was:Will you come up to talk?I looked up to see Devin’s worried face.
I joined him at the edge of the pool, “What up? Are you Okay? Professor Xavier asked me to talk to you.”
“Yeah, I’m fine. I just had a little problem with one of our guest.”
Devin let out a sigh, I got up and Devin stood next to me.
“Why not just hold my head in the water until I stop struggling?”
“I can arrange that for you” a voice ahead of us said.
Devin froze looking in the direction of the voice, Phobos popped up causing me to take a step back. My foot slipped from under me and a feel into the water too shocked to swim back up. Devin dove in after me as I gulped up water; helping me back about the water I choked up blood along with the water.
Rage filled me, I kissed Devin’s lips A Mid-Summer’s Night Dream, I said and he curled up on the floor.
Phobos looked at me and grinned, “Who am I, Puck?”
“No”, I snarled “His not immortal on your grounds. If I can’t kill you let’s see how long it would take for you to grow your head back. Vesi Sword
A blade formed out of the water and it went flying into him. All I see ichor and a head. The next thing I know is that I crashed down next to Devin.

You know how you never know that you’re going to change until everyone asks you what is different about you. Well for me no one asked they just told me straight out. Devin held a cup of water in his hand as he thinks he is sneaking up on me. He pours it over my head but I don’t get wet.
“Whoa, Twilight, nice tail.”
He is looking at my legs; I knew him too long for him to get awkward with me. I looked at my legs, or were my legs should be. Devin is right, I did have a tail. Black with a silver fin end.
Devin tilted his head, “Are you okay. You look like you can’t breathe.”
He is right, again, I couldn’t breathe or talk. I put my hands to my neck to fell gills on the sides. I tried every which way to talk but it isnt working. I grabbed the paper and pen on the night-stand and scribbled down: Help me get to the pool. It’s the water Phoenix.
He looked at me before helping me up to the pool. We meet Jean along the way being that the Phoenixes were very close to each other so she knew the next Phoenix is coming. I am set down in the pool and I looked at myself. I mean every girl may have wished to be a mermaid but that is when they were watching Ariel. At least I can see if I can do anything in the water now, then I remembered a spell that Hecate taught me to use in a dry place. I faded throw the floor of the pool and dropped into my room. I held up my hands water started to collect and fill the room. Just as the spell is about to finish Devin and Jean pulled open the door causing the water to splash into the hallway soaking them. If I hadn’t pulled it in the whole mansion would have been flooded. The spell is meant to fill the area until it finishes filling in every nock and cranny. After I let the spell complete I dove down to greet them. They looked bewildered at the fact that they were breathing and not drowning.
“Hey guys,” I bubbled.
“I’m sorry you got wet. I just remembered this spell that Hecate taught me. It originally was to drown out people… and rats. So what happened?” They looked at each other and sighed.
“We’ll go tell Professor Xavier. Do you know how to fit the next person to take the next Phoenix?” Jean replied.
“Yin Chang. She goes to school in Miami, Florida. She has the ability to bend water molecules into any shape she desires.”
